(The Solution For Black America Is Within The Pages OF My Book)

Today I attended an Emergency Summit On Urban Violence at Chicago State University.  I was about to network with other community activist as well as pass out fliers about my book and my organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I shook hands with Congressman Bobby L. Rush and Congressman Danny K. Davis but I miss meeting with Rev. Jessie Jackson due to the large crowd in the conference hall. Again I don’t do inspirational feel good speeches I speak from the gut and what I say makes a lot of people uncomfortable I can’t sugarcoat genocide.   I spoke with a few people from the news media about my book and the reason why I wrote my book.

I explain to three women from the press that not only do I address to issues facing Black America but I explain in detail my personal experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. I also explained to them that I provide a road map in my book on how my organization will end gun violence, poverty, and structural inequality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.  I also explain to them that I lack support from established black organizations and this was one way for me to recruit others to my cause my offering them incentives to start my organization in Chicago first and eventually in 25 other cities in America.  I explained to them that my book is only the beginning I want to connect with 30 people within the state of Illinois or beyond to come to Chicago and work with me directly in turning my vision into a reality no sound bites just action on the ground for the sake of our children and our communities.

I tried to post something positive but then I came across this article. The Trayvon Martin Case will eventually die down until another incident like this appears in the media. Until brothers, sisters, and others start solving this issues as a whole our young black men will continue to die. Believe me if I had the capital and 30 people already in place then I would start GRCAM today. All I can do at this point is to continue to encourage others to read my story and hope that brave,  smart, and reasonable brothers, sisters, and others, would step forward in working with me in turning my vision into reality. I’m only one voice. Real Christian Socialist online
