(The Book)

One of my favorite black leaders other than Dr. King was Minister Malcolm X. I talk about him in my book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition. My fa…vorite quote “I believe that there will ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those that do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the systems of exploitation.”

There is so much sound biting going on in the black community but no real plan to solve our social problems such as institutionalized racism, structural inequality, and police brutality. In my organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement we will not only discuss these issues we will also solve these issues once and for all if given a chance and if the community we will serve becomes equal partners. We will also heal head on with the Willie Lynch Mentality which is holding us back as a racial group. I want to connect our middle class, working class, and underclass brothers and sisters within the city of Chicago and state of Illinois. I want to make my city a model. After we’re established in Chicago I plan on expanding GRCAM in 25 cities within 25 states which has a large African American population. Once we’re established in 25 states I plan on expanding my organization abroad to Africa, Brazil, and the Caribbean Islands to people that want and need our services.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is much more than just a new movement in Black America it’s also a new system one which has never been done before. This is one reason why Black capitalist refuse to allow me rental space in 2005 because they viewed my organization as a threat to their ideology. First and foremost I am a Christian Socialist. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. I am also a social entrepreneur. A social entrepreneur are people who tries to solve social, cultural, and environmental issues. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will be a private for profit service base business. It will have three main components a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component.

Our focus is on strengthening single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families that want and need our services. We will provide goods and services to our clients and members and provide private employment within the organization pending on our budget and sponsorship. Most of all we will confront the Willie Lynch Mentality which is holding us back as a racial group. As I mentioned in my book I will have five people on my team placed within six groups working on different task at once. Black capitalist is no friend to the black community they have a mind set to only make money by exploiting poor blacks and their own people. They dare not speak against global capitalism or even teach about the 2007 economic crisis. Black capitalist are riding on a hamster wheel of their own theories and cannot construct new theories for our present situation or the future. In political terms, few if any have challenge those who have created economic crisis and social disparities. Black gay men and black lesbian women has also cause damage to the black community. Reading from “The Master’s Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master’s House”

“Those of us who stand outside the circle of this society’s definition of acceptable women; those of us who have been forged in the crucibles of difference those of us who are poor, who are lesbians, who are Black, who are older know that survival is not an academic skill. It is learning how to stand alone, unpopular and sometimes reviled, and how to make common cause with those others identified as outside the structures in order to define and seek a world in which we can all flourish. It is learning how to take our differences and make them strengths. For the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house. They may allow us temporarily to beat him at his own game, but they will never enable us to bring about genuine change. And this fact is only threatening to those women who still define the master’s house as their only source of support.“ Leaving behind the oppressive structures (the master’s house) is not an easy task. There has been some victories since the Civil Rights Movement, yet new challenges arise such as private for profit prison industrial, racism with voter ID laws and other social injustices, police brutality, dominate US culture and society. Thus I believe institutions in America have fallen behind, not able to keep up with new ideas, cultures, and theories.

Students are not equipped in how to think about injustices. The Grass Roots Community Activist institute will be one of our private schools which will not only equip students within our community but others who live outside of our community that want to learn a new perspective. I tried my best to engage myself with other people and organizations fighting for social justice but only seem to have my ideas brush off as to radical. If we agree with our Declaration of Independence that, “We hold these truths to be self evident; that all men are created equal” then and only then, will our definition of ” Real Change” can move from traditional political parties to People and Principles. I pledge to uphold the mandates of my fellow citizens, our city and our State. I believe “We the People” is one of the most important statements our Founding Fathers ever penned, and I will always uphold the principle that our government derives its authority from the people, and not the other way around, as the career politicians consistently practice.
