(Help Me Make GRCAM Into The Best African American Business In The United States)

I started (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement a virtual community back in November 11, 1991 on a social site called Gopher because I was lacking support from established black organizations in my city.  Over the years I expanded to other social sites to connect with others who think outside the box like me.   I assisted others who have accepted my hand of friendship with finding college scholarships/grants; nonprofit grants for those with ministries; small business grants; housing; legal services and employment on a national level all for free. I eventually ended up on 300 social networks and I correspond with a total of 125,000 people worldwide spreading my vision on improving Urban America, promoting my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos and also trying to recruit 30 brave and smart people to come to Chicago and work with me directly in getting this organization up and running.

After twenty years of talking to closed minded/small minded individuals I decided take my story to the public by writing and publishing my first book in 2010. But for some strange reason my first publisher only published my book I paid the full amount for both editing and  publishing. In 2012 me and one of my advisory board members worked on revising my second book and we found another self publishing company called Createspace.   “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition. This book is an auto-biography about my experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. I wrote this book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America.  Another reason why I wrote my book is to promote my organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.   GRCAM will be a private for profit service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our focus will be to bring goods and services to the low income African American communities and working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve.  We will offer a second chance program to ex-offenders, former gang members, and the homeless. We will also offer private employment within my organization to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship.

Our private school the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute school for Arts and Entertainment. We will create and produce our own movies, plays, and music in order to generate the capital I need in order for me to do all of the things I have written in my book to the fullest. We will offer six basic classes ranging from Film Making, Performing Arts, Entrepreneurship Training, Journalism, Book Writing Workshop, and Financial Literacy. We will offer internships and give stipends to our students pending on our budget. Our long term goal is to offer a music workshop with an onsite music studio and tutorial service which will include an after school program, adult education program, and a recreational center for our students and for the community we will serve.

Our agenda is to end gun violence, poverty, structural inequality, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.  Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money to offer incentives to thirty talented people within the state of Illinois or beyond who have read my book and agree with what I am trying to do, for those individuals to contact me and speak with me. I want those persons to come to Chicago and work with me directly in helping me start my organization. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states which are stated in my book as follows: Alabama; Arkansas; California; Connecticut; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Indiana; Kansas; Louisiana; Maryland; Michigan; Minnesota; Mississippi; North Carolina; New Jersey; New York; Ohio; Oklahoma; Pennsylvania; Texas; Tennessee; Virginia; Washington; and Wisconsin.

Once we’re established in 25 states I plans on expanding my organization abroad to Africa, Brazil, and the Caribbean Islands and assist people who want and need our services.  GRCAM is a Christian Socialism organization and all of our clients, members, and employees will be using my book as the foundation of this business. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. But everyone must agree with all of the principles in my book no exceptions. Anyone who disagree with my plan to improve Urban America or careless about my cause will not be allowed to join my organization or be a part of my life.  I want to make GRCAM/GRCAI into a multi-million dollar business which will create legitimate jobs to millions of employees in our urban communities and benefit our society if given a chance. Since my book sells are low again due to lack of support I decided to focus my attention on finding legitimate film directors and or legitimate play directors to help me turn my book into a movie and or a play in order for me to generate the capital I need to hire 30 people to help me run the daily operations of my business. I am still trying to give people on my friends list a chance to participate with me before my business is established because by then I will be working in my business and have little or no time to be on social networks.  This is my contribution back to my community and throughout the African Diaspora.
