With all of these nonprofit organizations it would seem to me that poverty in America and throughout the world would decrease. I don’t seek any donations for the merit in my book alone should provide me with the capital I need to hire qualified people on my team. What I provide in my book is a road map on how my organization will end urban violence in America and in third world countries to people that want and need our services. I recall an organization called Kony 2012. It was a short film produced by Invisible Children, Inc. It was released on March 5, 2012. The film’s purpose was to promote the charity’s “Stop Kony” which depicted African cult and militia leader, Joseph Kony to be indicted as a war criminal by the International Criminal Court. The film spread virally. As of March 1, 2014, the film had received over 99 million views and 1.3 million “likes” on YouTube, and over 21.9 thousand “likes” on Vimeo.
One poll suggested that more than half of young adult Americans heard about Kony 2012 in the days following the video’s release. It was included among the top international events of 2012 by PBS and called the most viral video ever by TIME. The campaign resulted in a resolution by the United States Senate to send troops by the African Union. The film also called for an April 20 worldwide canvassing campaign, called “Cover the Night.” However, in the wake of controversy regarding the project’s legitimacy, as well as publicized accounts of the film’s director Jason Russell’s interest in the movement waned. Since the video’s release, Invisible Children has come under criticism for oversimplification of events in the region and gives misleading impression of the whereabouts and magnitude of Kony’s remaining forces. Senator Lindsey Graham, stated that, “When you get 100 million Americans looking at something, you will get our attention.
In contrast, my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos has gotten nowhere. For twenty two years I’ve been pushing my plan/vision to established black organizations in my city as well as the black church but still to this day I have no one in Chicago willing to work with me this is why I turned to the internet. Since, 2001 over 4,000 people has been killed in my city due to urban violence. I have lost faith with our black leaders, my focus is on reaching out to ordinary law abiding citizens. I am on 300 social networks and I correspond with 125,000 people worldwide but only three people are on my advisory board what is wrong with this picture? No preachers no politicians in the United States has a plan to end urban violence I do if given a chance. After 14 years I decided to write and published my book in 2010 and 2012. Now my focus is on reaching film makers and play directors to work with me directly in putting my story on the golden screen and on Broadway.
There are many scammers online that promises false dreams and give false hope. I am an authentic urban author and upcoming social entrepreneur. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. But everyone must accept all of the principles in my book no exceptions.
