(GRCAM Home OF Chicago)

I was born and raised in Chicago. I lived on both the Southside and also on the Westside. I am not interested in running for public office because of political corruption. Nor am I here to improve the current system (Capitalism) but rather to offer an alternative (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. GRCAM is a Christian Socialist organization which will lead the second reconstruction in Black America.

The Purpose:

The purpose of GRCAM is about making a positive impact in the lives of the residents on the Westside and the Southside of Chicago low income African American Community by creating a safe environment for our women and children  by offering real opportunities for educational advancement and economic development to families that want and need our services. Also those who want more out of life.

The Black Community:

Austin, Garfield Park, and North Lawndale is one of Chicago’s most densely populated neighborhoods with a high percentage of youth. However, it also continues to be one of the most violent communities in Chicago. Working families on the Westside of Chicago do not have access to the same resources available to them like affluent neighborhoods in the Chicago land area. Class and race are inseparable you can’t discuss one without indirectly discussing the other. Our neighborhood schools are falling below state standards. Children play on the streets due to lack of parks, playgrounds, and green space. Residents must consistently face the violence that sporadically erupts between rival street gangs. GRCAM will work to improve these conditions through a preventative and proactive approach which will strengthen the black family, our neighborhood, and  our city.

Our problems spread beyond our neighborhood boundaries but collectively we can work on solving our social issues one community, one city, one state at a time. I want to make Chicago a model and what must be done to improve conditions for our children. The Grassroots Collaborative, will advocate for working families of Chicago and make sure our tax dollars are not being wasted by outside forces who work for rich corporations; GRCAM will  advocate for social justice and set the example of peaceful and successful work between people of different cultures, ethnicity and religion; Black Agenda, to make sure the needs of the black community are being addressed, met and supported in Chicago and throughout the state of Illinois. Concern parents are worried about their children safety. GRCAM will create anti-violence programs to improve opportunities for African Americans/Black Americans in the Chicago land area.

I will offer an alternative to what hasn’t worked in Chicago. I am not well known in throughout Chicago many brothers and sisters are not aware of my story. I have put forth a platform in my book but lack the capital to turn my plan into reality. My target audience are Single Black Mothers, Single Black Fathers, and Low Income Two Parent Families who need to step up because this organization is for them and their children. I am not politically connected nor do I have access to millionaires/billionaires. My focus is on ordinary law abiding citizens who want to work with me in moving my virtual organization from behind a computer. I want to return to my roots and solve social issues at the community level. The biggest challenge I face is convincing African Americans/Black Americans to purchase my book and read my story. The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition is about my personal experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago as well as our past, present, and future.

GRCAM is about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to communities and families that want and need our services. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. If black people don’t get involved with black issues and local politics within the community our children will continue to pay the price. This is more than trying to sell a book this is about real issues affecting urban communities, families, and society. This is my contribution back to my community and throughout the African Diaspora.
