Emmanuel vs. Empire

Posted in Community on March 30, 2015 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

Just using technology wisely to broadcast my vision, my book and my virtual organization (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement to those who are concerned about black issues, the black family, and the black community. Twenty three years of my life my vision to improve Urban America has been dismiss by established black organizations in my city Chicago.  Chicago is currently the murder capital in America and it’s time for my organization to be put to the test. Allow me to do my job by purchasing my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition. This book is an auto-biography about my experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. I wrote this book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America.

Another reason why I wrote my book is to promote my organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.  GRCAM will become a private for profit multi-service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our focus is on providing goods and services to the low income African American community and working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve.

Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can hire thirty qualified individuals to assist me in the daily operation of my business. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states. Once we’re established in America I plan on having Native Africans in America to help me start chapters in 25 countries in Africa.

Our agenda is to end urban violence, gun violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.  My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist.  This is my contribution back to my community and throughout the African Diaspora.

(Promoting GRCAM In Urban America)

Posted in Community on March 28, 2015 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I am inviting everyone on my friends list and in my social groups to participate on my  BlogTalkRadio show Friday April 24th 2015, for 30 minutes from 5:00PM to 5:30PM Central Time.  I will answer any questions you may have about my revised book or my virtual organization (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. You can contact me at (347) 324-5232. After you have purchased my book and if you agree with my plan to improve Urban America then I will have you as a guest on my show to talk about your business/ministry, music or whatever you want. If for some reason you are unable to connect with me on BTR then we can do voice chat in real time right after the show on Skype. My Skype screen name is manwell4mankind. My next topic I am going to discuss Prosperity theology from preachers of L.A. to Creflo Dollar. Preachers like Creflo Dollar, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Deitrick  Haddon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Ron Gibson, and Pastor Wayne Chaney  are leading figures in the prosperity gospel movement. Prosperity theology, the health and wealth gospel, is a Christian religious doctrine that financial blessing is the will of God for Christians, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to Christian ministries will always increase one’s material wealth. Based on non-traditional interpretations of the Bible, often with emphasis on the Book of Malachi, the doctrine views the Bible as a contract between God and humans: if humans have faith in God, he will deliver his promises of security and prosperity. Confessing these promises to be true is perceived as an act of faith, which God will honor. Preachers of L.A. is a reality show that portray the lives of three Bishops and three Pastors from their work within the church to their personal lives at home. From Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Deitrick Haddon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Ron Gibson, and Pastor Wayne Chaney.  Last year I watched the first episode of The Preachers of L.A. I was stunned by the interaction between Pastor Deitrick Haddon and Bishop Clarence McClendon about “the problems with the church” when he is shown throughout the episode as someone who fell and then seeks redemption. The church didn’t cause his downfall it was his own actions that lead to his down fall.  It seems like these TV producers prefer to see these preachers clashing in  order to boots there ratings. Throughout the show I seen these preachers showing off in there Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Hummers, and other luxury cars it overshadowed Pastor Deitrick Haddon’s rehearsal or Bishop Ron Gibson’s interaction with the gangs in the community. This show gives preachers a bad reputation that people only go into the ministry just to get rich or take up as many offerings as possible. I’m saddened by this series and personally, I think it was a mistake. The lavish L.A. preachers’ lifestyles, driving luxury cars, and living in nice homes are not people who dedicate their lives to God. The mission is about serving God and serving people. I was shock by the way the ministers flaunt their wealth.  Accumulation of wealth seemed to be their goal.  I didn’t get the impression they were trying to win souls for Christ. Prosperity preachers has lead people down the wrong path.  You would  never see Apostle Paul or Peter dressed in flashy clothing or driving fancy cars. Prosperity theology has nothing in common with traditional Christian theology. Prosperity theology promotes idolatry of money, but Jesus teachings indicate a disdain for material wealth. In Mark 10:25  Jesus said “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” (KJV) as evidence to oppose such thinking. Church leaders are often criticized for abusing the faith of their congregation by enriching themselves through large donations. Prosperity theology is opposed for not adequately explaining the poverty of the Apostles. Righteousness is not earned, and the Bible does not promise an easy life. Apostle Paul taught Christians to give up their material possessions. Jesus instructed his followers to focus on spiritual rewards, citing his command in Matthew 6:19–20 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (KJV).  This is one reason why the church is in the condition that it’s in today, because the church leadership has aligned itself with the world. It was during the Healing Revivals of Billy Graham that prosperity theology first became popular. Churches in which the prosperity gospel is taught typically set aside extended time to teach about giving and request donations from their  congregation, encourage feel good speeches. Prosperity churches often teach about financial responsibility.  A few weeks ago I heard that Pastor Creflo Dollar was asking his congregation and partners for $300 dollars each so, he can purchase a $65 Million dollar Jet. In contrast, I am not asking for donations I am a author first and I am selling my book for $22.47 plus tax in order for me to generate capital, so I can hire 30 qualified individuals to assist me in the daily operations of my business.  Many churches I attend won’t allow me to pass out fliers about my book but they allow career politicians to come and speak to their congregation about politics. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a Christian Socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus.  I am a Christian socialists, many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin.  Prosperity theology is considered heresy to me and other Christian denominations.  I am also a social entrepreneur. A social entrepreneur are people who tries to solve social, cultural, and environmental issues. Some of my Christian friends ask me why do I include secular people on my friends list? I explain to them that we as Christians should focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. The goal of GRCAM is to provide goods and services to the low income African American communities and working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve.  We will offer a second chance program to ex-offenders, former gang members, and the homeless. They will offer private employment within my organization to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. For twenty three years my vision to improve Urban America has been rejected by established black organizations and also by the black church in my former community and in my current community and yet Chicago remains the murder capital in America this is unacceptable Black America! Since I lack the manpower and the capital to start my organization I decided to focus on promoting my book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition. If at least half of the people on my Facebook friends list and in my social groups as well as those on my Google Plus page would purchase my book and work with me in turning my vision into a reality starting in Chicago we could change the outcome of Urban America as well know it. Our focus is providing goods and services to the low income African American community by working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve. We will also offer private employment to our clients and members, as well as a second chance program for ex offenders, former gang members, and the homeless based on our budget and sponsorship. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states.  Once we’re established in America I plan on having Native Africans in the United States to assist me in starting chapters in 25 countries in Africa. It’s my hope that my readers will help me get my book on the best sellers list and eventually become a movie like Black November. My story deserve to be told and my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos will save lives and meet the need of the community. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora. The views and opinions in this video does not reflect GRCAM but rather begs the differ why my organization should be embraced in Chicago, since Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. 23 years I have been reaching out to brothers, sisters, and others who claim that they are concerned about black issues but still to this day I have no one on my management team. My goal for creating this movement is to provide economic development to the low income African American community and provide goods and services to single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve.
Since I lack the manpower and the capital to start my organization I decided to focus on promoting my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition.

I wrote my book to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. My book is the foundation of my organization (GRCAM)the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement and the ideas in my book will be put to use in my private school the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute school of Arts and Entertainment.
(GRCAM Raising The Standard In Urban America)

I am inviting everyone on my friends list and in my social groups to participate on my Blogtalkradio show this coming Friday March 27th from 5:00-5:30PM Central Time.  You can contact me at(347)324-5232.
The topic Emmanuel Barbee vs. Empire

Chicago is known as a gangster city and the heroin hub because of it’s central location that lure drug dealers to disperse narcotics across the country. I have a problem with Empire because it glorify street life and it sends a hidden message to drug dealers that if they sell enough  drugs they will eventually have the good life. Since 2001 over 4,000 people have been killed in Chicago alone and our black leaders have no plan on how to end urban violence. For 23 years my vision to improve Urban America has been overlooked because I am not a celebrity nor am I politically connected. I stand against evil in any form, no criminals, no active gang members, and no have steppers allowed  in my organization this is how I get down.

I’m asking everyone on my friends list and in my social groups to help me do my job by getting my book on the best sellers list. Secondly, I am seeking 30 people in the United States who have read my book and agree with my plan to improve Urban America, if you are brave enough and smart enough to be on my team then by all means make yourself known to me. I am called to move beyond the four walls of the church, and bring Christian Socialism to Urban America as well as to meet the basic needs of the community. Those who purchased my book and agree with my plan to improve Urban America I will promote your Business, Ministries, or Music on my Blogtalkradio show for 10 minutes. I will support those who support me. To see a list of all my social groups go to my Blogsite and look under the entry “Moving My Social Groups From Behind PC”

Emmanuel Barbee vs. Empire

Posted in Community on March 20, 2015 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I heard that 15 million people watched the finale of Empire on Fox. The hit show is just a show they are not creating jobs in the black community. Yet more people are supporting and promoting this TV mini series while my plan/vision is overlooked. If there is any one who should be supporting my efforts it is single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families. As well as the black church. 23 years I been looking for brave and smart individuals to come forth and join my management team so that we can put my vision into action. Since I lack the manpower and the capital to start my organization I am just focusing on promoting my book and encouraging those on my friends list and in my social groups to not become a frog on a log but rather participate in my free online conferences, interact with me on Skype or Google Plus Hangouts or just come meet me in person in Chicago. Here’s another case of senseless violence that could have been prevented.

While our young black men in the inner cities are being killed many of our people are to busy watching TV series like Empire a show that portrays the black man in a negative role. Body of Black Man Found Hanging in Mississippi. And we are in 2015 and this is still going on. That’s awful. Prayers go out to the Mr Byrd’s family.
