(Where Does The Faith Community Stand On Social Issues Today?)

Preachers like Creflo Dollar and Joel Osteen are leading figures in the prosperity gospel movement. Prosperity gospel is a religious doctrine which focus on financial blessings, feel good speeches, and donations to Christian ministries will increase one’s material wealth, often with emphasis on the Book of Malachi. The doctrine of Malachi views the Bible as a contract between God and humans. If humans have faith in God, he will deliver his promise of security and prosperity. Confessing these promises to be true is perceived as an act of faith, that God will honor.

In contrast, Christian Socialist oppose prosperity theology as heresy. Prosperity theology has nothing in common with traditional Christian theology. Prosperity theology promotes idolatry of money, but Jesus teachings indicate a disdain for material wealth. In Mark 10:25  Jesus said “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” (KJV) as evidence to oppose such thinking. Church leaders are often criticized for abusing the faith of their congregation by enriching themselves through large donations. Prosperity theology is opposed for not adequately explaining the poverty of the Apostles. Righteousness is not earned, and the Bible does not promise an easy life. Apostle Paul taught Christians to give up their material possessions. Jesus instructed his followers to focus on spiritual rewards, citing his command in Matthew 6:19–20 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (KJV).

Pastor Creflo Dollar is asking his congregation and partners for $300 dollars each so, he can purchase a $65 Million dollar Jet.  I am selling my book for $22.47 plus tax in order for me to generate capital, so I can hire 30 qualified individuals to assist me in the daily operations of my business. Our focus is providing goods and services to the low income African American community by working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve. We will also offer private employment to our clients and members, as well as a second chance program for ex offenders, former gang members, and the homeless based on our budget and sponsorship.

Our agenda is to end urban violence, gun violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states.  Once we’re established in America I plan on having Native Africans in the United States to assist me in starting chapters in 25 countries in Africa. It’s my hope that my readers will help me get my book on the best sellers list and eventually become a movie like Black November. My story deserve to be told and my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos will save lives and meet the need of the community. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
