(Emmanuel Barbee Modern Day History Maker)

Emmanuel Barbee, has dedicated his life to bringing change to our inner-cities of Chicago. Emmanuel Barbee believes that our urban neighborhoods deserve quality programs/services and social justice to those without a voice. He is the founder and President of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement which focus on economic opportunity in underserved communities, focus on keeping our neighborhoods safe, and advocate for social justice. He has championed job creation, corporate responsibility and promoting economic development initiatives in underserved communities.

It’s unacceptable that I have a plan to help improve our inner cities but because I am not affiliated with the political machine in Chicago my ideas are overlooked.
For 24 years I have been speaking out against urban violence in Chicago war torn communities online and offline yet I have been getting little support for my effort from the African American community in my city. The dirty looks, humiliation, and the rejection about what I am trying to do have not deterred me from my calling Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos. But glory to God for the internet in the digital age and this is why I wrote my story and this is why my organization is private.

My pledge to the inner cities of Chicago is that no one under my leadership will ever have to endure such humiliation and rejection for trying to do something positive in the black community. I will do everything which I have written in my revised book as soon as my organization is established in Chicago. Since 2001, over 4000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and as a result Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. We see that nothing out there is working to end the blood shed why not embrace my plan?

Emmanuel grew up in Chicago Illinois and has dedicated half of his life in serving the inner cities of Chicago by fighting for our most vulnerable citizens our children. He is a GED instructor, blogtalkradio host, a professional blogger, college graduate, and a published author of the book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition on Amazon.com which is based on his virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.

He wrote his book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason why he wrote his book is to promote his virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. GRCAM will become a private for profit and also a  nonprofit service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our focus is on providing goods and services to the low income African American community and working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families who want to utilize our programs and services.

Finally, he wrote his book in order to generate capital/seed money so that he can hire thirty qualified individuals to assist him in the daily operation of his business. He wants to make Chicago a model first before he expand to 25 other cities within 25 states. Once they are established in 25 cities in America he plan on having Native Africans in America to assist him in setting up chapters in 25 countries in Africa.

Our mission is to end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.  His organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is Emmanuel contribution back to his community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

Our independent political party will take a progressive platform which includes protecting our children and community residents by addressing and passing new gun laws. His political party will fight to give our children a better future. His political party will work to end aggressive over policing and establish fair, restorative justice for young offenders. His political party will work to end the school to prison pipeline through meaningful, interventions that build better futures for our youth.Emmanuel believes that growing economic inequality within our urban community in which our democracy depends. He is advocating social policies to help working families, support economic growth and job creation within the inner cities of Chicago.

I am not seeking any donations but rather for those of you who can please purchase my revised book if you agree with my plan to improve our inner cities in America then help me get my book on the best sellers list so that I can do all of the things which I have written. My book is just the beginning once I generate enough capital from my book sell and my future film then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute in Chicago. GRCAI will empower local and national Actors, Actresses, Artists, Comedians, Fashion Designers, Film Makers, Models, Musicians, Performing Artist, Poets, Singers, and Writers.

Our students will learn Film Making, Performing Arts, Entrepreneurship Training, Journalism, Book Writing, and Financial Literacy. We will offer internships and give stipends to our students and offer private employment within the organization to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. In time we will offer a second chance program for ex-offenders, former gang members, and the homeless. This is what I am trying to do in my former community and in the city of Chicago. Once GRCAI is established in Chicago I will declare war on Willie Lynch within the black culture.

In order for me to achieve my goal, I need people on my friends list, people in my social groups, and Chicago residents to stand up and work with me by spreading my book information with your family, friends, place of worship, and also at your local community center. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states as mentioned in my revised book.

Once my organization is established in 25 states I plan on having Native Africans in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 25 countries in Africa. I want to earn creditability in America first before we expand abroad to Africa.
We will go through the proper channels with their government to start my (NGO) Non-government organization/ private for profit service based business in order to offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship.

We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate our people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. We will also expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands. GRCAM is about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to families that want to utilize our programs and services. My organization is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. All I ask is the you accept all of the principles in my book. This is my contribution back to my community, society, and throughout the African Diaspora.
