(Pushing For A New Movement In Black America)

Posted in Community with tags , , on April 28, 2016 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I’m calling upon the Art community, the Black community, and the Faith community to participate in my free conference on June 15th, 2016 from 7:00PM to 12:00AM Central Time on Facebook and Skype. Chat with me live in real time via voice chat/video chat on Skype just send me a friend request my screen name is manwell4mankind.

The Purpose

* I want to get re-acquainted with people on my friends list and those in my social groups.

* To network with a legitimate film maker who will work with me in turning my story into a motion picture.

* To recruit 30 individuals within the United States who have read my book and agree with my plan to improve our inner cities starting in Chicago.

* Those who are serious about meeting me in person at the Harold Washington Library located at 400 South State Street Chicago, Illinois just send me your email address to my Facebook inbox, Google inbox, LinkedIn inbox in order for me to make arrangements with you.

To get people involved with my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos by purchasing my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition on Amazon.com which is based on my experience growing up in the inner cities of Chicago. I also wrote my book in order to promote my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in hopes of turning it into a real business known as the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

My book is just the beginning, it’s my hope that through my book I could connect with people from the business community who are Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs to discuss my for profit business plan. In contrast, I also plan on meeting with Donors, Philanthropist, and Sponsors to discuss my nonprofit business plan.

I created the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement on the belief that inner city youth and their family are entitled to respect, basic resources, and protection and safety in our own community. Our mission is to help end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. We will also focus on strengthening the black family by offering programs and services to single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families. Once I generate enough capital from my book sell and have my management team in place then I will start my private organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute in Chicago.

Even without watching the news, one can’t help but notice the racial tensions that are steadily rising across America. Black males specifically, are still looked upon as criminals and savages which falls into that slippery slope of stereotyping just like Rogue Cops who by into the negative images they see in the media that all black males embrace criminality and there fore are criminals. If our grandparents had the same mindset our generation have today there would never have been a Civil Rights Movement. Urban violence has not reached a national public forum as of yet while children in urban communities continue to lose their lives. If the same numbers were applied to none people of color and from the upper middle class, the entire country would be up in arms, and all kinds of programs would be funded to help solve the issue.

It seems, there is a new story of a black man being gunned down by police in cold blood; fathers, brothers, sons, school aged kids. It’s not just the police that are gunning us down; there has been a long-standing trend of black on black killings as well. I offer a plan to evoke change within our community. Through GRCAI we will change the negative perception of self so that we value each other’s lives. My book is an act of action, we will come together to not only discuss issues facing the black community, but also solve them.

Get involved

I can’t do this alone in order for me to achieve my goal, I need people on my friends list, people in my social groups, and Chicago residents to work with me by spreading my book information with your family, friends, place of worship, and also at your local community center. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states as mentioned in my book.

Once my organization is established in 25 states I plan on having Native Africans in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 25 countries in Africa. I want to earn creditability in America first before we expand abroad to Africa. We will go through the proper channels with their government to start my (NGO) Non-government organization/ private non profit and for profit service based business. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship.

We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate our people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. We will also expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands. GRCAI is about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to families that want to utilize our programs and services. My organization is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. All I ask is for people to accept all of the principles in my book. GRCAI is private in order for me to weed out small minded individuals and people who don’t care about our inner city youth. This is my contribution back to my community, society, and throughout the African Diaspora.

(Emmanuel Barbee Trying To Raise The Bar In Black America)

Posted in Community with tags , , on April 28, 2016 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

Urban violence is a moral and social issue just as it was during slavery and lynching. I ran across a Youtube video which showed a brother ranting and raving about black on black crime. He called all of our inner city youth savages which falls into that slippery slope of stereotyping just like Rogue Cops who by into the negative images they see in the media that all black males embrace criminality and there fore are criminals.

Unlike the Black Lives Matter Movement which tries to convince white people that “Black Lives Matter” I’m trying to get the Art community, Black community, and the Faith community involved with my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos by purchasing my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition on Amazon.com which is based on my experience growing up in the inner cities of Chicago. I also wrote my book in order to promote my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in hopes of turning it into a real business known as the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

I created the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement on the belief
that inner city youth and their family are entitled to respect, basic resources, and protection and safety in our own community. It’s private because I want to exclude small minded individuals who careless about our inner city youth and their families.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be a gathering place for special events, food, music, and sports as well as a place to help implement security measures to make sure our neighborhood is safe vibrant and productive. This will be a lasting legacy for our community. Our Charity Programs: fundraising would be intertwined with our events to help raise money for our nonprofit organization for our programs and services we will provide within the community we will serve.

Our charity events will be used to improve the quality of life for working and poor families in the community without regard to religion or national origin. Our nonprofit organization will focus on Education, Health & Wellness, Community Research and Social Service. Our for profit business will focus on creating affordable housing which will be intertwined with our nonprofit organization promoting Christian morals and values within the community. GRCAI will support creative people, form cooperative alliances with other community organizations, and build a more just, verdant, and peaceful community. GRCAI will deal with solving social challenges, including mass-incarceration and promote a crime free community for our youth and residents. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be committed to teaching journalism in a responsible manner and generate new knowledge about solving social issues beginning in our inner cities of Chicago. We will strive to make Chicago the hub of creating documentaries, comedy, films, stage plays, and music all under one roof.

I am dedicated to my cause for improving the black community through my story with hopes of civic engagement and connecting with philanthropist to support our nonprofit organization. I am striving to make a difference by pushing my bold vision with others, we can leverage collective knowledge, creativity and resources for a greater impact in our community and in our society. It’s my hope that through my book I could connect with qualified individuals to work with me in creating a Donor Advised Fund which will enable investors and philanthropists to customized and manage portfolios with equal regard for problem solving and profit. We will work with investors, financial advisors, and other impact investing organizations to increase investments for the social good.

GRCAI will work towards building a brighter future for community residents and their families in order for them to realize their greatest potential. GRCAI will help improve the environment and give our clients and members the dignity and respect their deserve. GRCAI is all about assisting people who desire self-determination, spirituality, dignity, respect and provide quality of life for all. We promote community support, community awareness, education and advocacy.

(Lack OF Support From Poor & Working Class Is Keeping Financial Elites In Power)

Posted in Community with tags , , on April 26, 2016 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

It’s not white people that is giving me a hard time it’s our own people who refuse to support my vision to improve our inner cities in Chicago and beyond. I hold free online conferences for busy people in the convenience and privacy of their home yet very few people participate. I created Help Stop The Genocide In Americans Ghettos on Blogtalkradio in order to promote my revised book and also give my supporters an opportunity to promote their business, church events, and or their cause to my podcast audience. Again very few people participate how can I get other racial groups involved when I am unable to get blacks involved with solving black issues?

My book is my pledge to the inner city of Chicago residents that no one under my leadership within my organization will ever have to endure such humiliation and rejection for trying to do something positive in the black community. Those who agree with my plan to improve our inner cities in Chicago will sign one of our consent forms once I have my business in pace. My words would become a binding legal document. Since 2001, over 4000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and as a result Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. We see that nothing out there is working to end the blood shed why Black America won’t embrace my plan?

Senator Bernie Sanders is losing the presidential campaign not because of what he is saying to voters but rather in his own words “Poor People Don’t Vote.” I voted for Bernie Sanders because his focus is on income and wealth inequality, which he argues is eroding the American middle class, he also wants to work on changing campaign finance reform. He choose to receive most of his funding directly from individual donations rather then from mega corporations. He is a democratic socialist I agree with his politics. Sanders has introduced amendments to Senate bills that promote the creation of millions of middle class jobs by investing in infrastructure, paid for by closing loopholes in the corporate and international tax system.

Sanders has long been an advocate of making college more affordable. He has spoken out against the high interest rates on federal student loans, noting that in the next ten years, the federal government will profit by as much as $127 billion from them. Sanders believes tax reform is the solution, and has developed a plan to bring matching grants from the federal and state governments to cut tuition at public universities by more than half. He has criticized both Republicans and Democrats for failing to institute reforms that will stop predatory lending practices in the student loan market.

Sanders was a civil rights organizer at the University of Chicago in the 1960s. Sanders worked for Jesse Jackson’s presidential campaign. As part of his presidential platform, Sanders calls for an end to waged against black and brown Americans: physical, political, legal and economic. He said “It is an obscenity that we stigmatize so many young Americans with a criminal record for smoking marijuana, but not one major Wall Street executive has been prosecuted for causing the near collapse of our entire economy. This must change. We must address the lingering unjust stereotypes that lead to the labeling of black youths as thugs. We know the truth that, like every community in this country, the vast majority of people of color are trying to work hard, play by the rules and raise their children. It’s time to stop demonizing minority communities.”

Sanders supports banning semi-automatic weapons and closing a loophole that allows buyers to purchase guns at a gun show. He is also in favor of instant background checks for gun owners. Sanders voted for the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. Speaking to CNN’s on State of the Union, Sanders said, “I want to see real, serious debate and action on guns, but it is not going to take place if we simply have extreme positions on both sides. I think I can bring us to the middle. Sanders also dismissed the idea that gun control measures could have prevented the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, saying “if you passed the strongest gun control legislation tomorrow, I don’t think it will have a profound effect on the tragedies we have seen.”

Sanders has called for reforms to sentencing guidelines, drug policy, and use of force policies within police departments. Noting that there are more people incarcerated in the U.S. than any country in the world at an annual cost to taxpayers of $70 billion, Sanders argues that the money would be better spent on education and jobs. He has spoken out against police brutality and the uneven rates of arrest of African-Americans and other minorities, saying: “From Ferguson to Baltimore and across this nation, too many African-Americans and other minorities find themselves subjected to a system that treats citizens who have not committed crimes as if they were criminals and that is unacceptable.”

Sanders has also spoken out against the privatization of prisons he said “It is morally repugnant and a national tragedy that we have privatized prisons all over America. In my view, corporations should not be allowed to make a profit by building more jails and keeping more Americans behind bars. We have got to end the private-for-profit prison racket in America.” Senator Sanders introduced the “Justice Is Not for Sale” Act, which prohibits the United States government at federal, state and local levels from contracting with private firms to provide and/or operate detention facilities within two years. “We cannot fix our criminal justice system if corporations are allowed to profit from mass incarceration.”

In contrast, I have experience first hand what it’s like to lack support for a good cause. For 24 years my plan to help improve our inner cities in Chicago and beyond has gotten little to no support from the black community which made me write and publish my story “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition on Amazon.com I wrote my book to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place in our inner cities in America. I also wrote my book to promote my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.

Once I generate enough capital from my book sell and have my management team in place then I will start my private organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute in Chicago. It’s private because I want to exclude small minded individuals who careless about our inner city youth and their families. Our mission is to help end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. We will also focus on strengthening the black family by offering programs and services to single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families.

Our for profit business will focus on creating a Christian business which will be intertwined with our nonprofit organization promoting Christian morals and values within the community. GRCAI is a Christian socialist organization.

Christian socialism is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe capitalism to be idolatrous and rooted in greed, which some Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. Christian socialists identify the cause of social inequality is due to capitalism. We welcome all Christian denominations in the faith, secular people, and moderate Muslims. We will teach the community about tolerance and how to co-exist by respecting one another belief system. I want us to pool our resources collectively in order to uplift the black community. Our primary goal under the spiritual component is to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to teach, preach, and demonstrate the Living Word of God so that people will not only believe and receive the Word but will also develop an awareness of who they are in Christ.

I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states as mentioned in my book. Once my organization is established in 25 states I plan on having Native Africans in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 25 countries in Africa. (Rebuking Criminality Within Black America)

Posted in Community with tags , , on April 18, 2016 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

It saddens me how our youth are embracing criminality as a way of life. Our culture has been hijacked by criminals, thugs, and urban terrorist. I am trying to start a new movement in Black America which will focus on strengthening the black family while keeping our inner city youth safe and install values through our spiritual component. Provide private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. Our ancestors cried out to Jesus during American slavery. Today our people are serving idol gods and have turned their backs on the one and only God who have set our people free. It does not matter if you are a black Christian, a black Muslim, or which social class you are affiliated with a Rogue Cop will treat us all the same guilty until proven innocent.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will hold both Rogue Cops and Urban Terrorist accountable for their actions and we will create our own laws known as Community Rights which will deal with them in a constructive manner only if the black community wants it. For 24 years my plan/vision to improve our inner cities have been rejected by established black organizations in my city and yet none of these black community organizations have implemented a plan to end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality. I have written what my organization will do in detail in my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon.com

I provide all of my contact information in my book. It’s my hope that I can connect with 30 people within the United States who have read my story and agree with my plan to improve our inner cities for those persons to make themselves known to me. I know that everyone will not join my organization that’s why it’s private I am only responsible for my members. Once I have my management team in place we will begin GRCAM on the Westside of Chicago and eventually on the Southside of Chicago. People who want to join this new movement will be screen and they must sign the consent form which states that they agree with all of the principles in my book and this form will become a legal document. No criminals, No active gang members, and no half steppers allowed this is how I get down.
