(GRCAM On The Scene: The Pen Is Mightier Than The Gun)

For 24 years my plan to help improve our inner cities in Chicago has been overlooked by established black organizations. Since 2001 over 4000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and as a result Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. We see that nothing out there is working to end senseless violence in Chicago why not give my plan a chance? Where is the black media? Since I lack the manpower and the capital to start my Christian organization I wrote the vision and made it plain in my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition on Amazon.com

I provide a detail action plan in my book I’ve done my part if Black America want a solution then Black America need to work with me by helping me get my book on the best seller list so that I can do my job and hire qualified individuals to assist me with the daily operation of my Christian organization. I can’t do this alone in order for me to achieve my goal, I need people on my friends list, people in my social groups, and Chicago residents to work with me by spreading my book information with your family, friends, place of worship, and also at your local community center.

It’s my hope that everyone on my friends list and those in my social groups would participate in my free online conference (The Battle For Chicago: Community Pledge Conference 2016) on June 15th,2016 from 7:00PM to 12:00AM Central Time on Facebook and Skype. Chat with me live in real time via voice chat/video chat on Skype just send me a friend request my screen name is manwell4mankind. I am also hosting another conference on Blogtalkradio the presentation is entitled (GRCAM Part OF Those Greater Works As Mentioned In The Bible) on June 30th, 2016 from 6:00PM to 7:00PM Central Time. The number to my BTR show is (347) 324-5232.

After the Trayvon Martin case in 2014, President Obama launched the My Brother’s Keeper initiative, to help boys and young men of color to address our unique challenges and to promote racial justice. The program was initiated through the White House, the Department of Education, and the National Convening Council. The initiative has obtained pledges by non-profit organizations of $200 million over five years. The initiative is intended to be a call to action for mayors, county executives, and other municipal leaders to address persistent opportunity gaps for young men of color and help them reach their potential.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement believes that Black girls and Black women need to be included that’s why GRCAM focus on the entire Black family and the Black Community. The Obama administration has made lot of progress while in office but there is still much more that need to done. Despite increased public attention being given to police brutality sexual assault is often diminished in main stream media. For example, Officer Daniel Ken Holtzclaw is a former Oklahoma City Police Department police officer. He was convicted in December 2015 of multiple counts of rape, sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy and other charges.

The majority of Holtzclaw’s victims had criminal histories such as drug arrests; all of the women were black, many of them from low-income neighborhoods. According to the police investigators, Holtzclaw used his position as an officer to run background checks to find information that could be used to coerce sex. During the trial, the defense questioned the victims’ credibility during cross examination, bringing up their criminal records. However, the prosecution argued that victims were deliberately chosen by Holtzclaw for this very reason. Holtzclaw pleaded not guilty to all charges. On December 10, 2015, an all white jury convicted him on 18 of 36 charges, and on January 21, 2016, he was sentenced to 263 years in prison.

Unlike the wide attention that has been given to the recent violence directed at black men, the Holtzclaw case has drawn little attention from either the media or activists. On the day that the Holtzclaw trial opened, the courtroom was almost empty. OKC Artists for Justice, an Oklahoma City-based advocacy group founded by two Oklahoma City residents, Candace Liger and Grace Franklin, was formed to organize support for the women. The racial justice movement has made household names of many black males such as Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Freddie Gray, and Walter Scott were unarmed black male and became victimized by Rogue Cops. Here are four sisters who face equally horrible fates Natasha McKenna, Sandra Bland, Rekia Boyd and Aiyana Stanley Jones.

I created the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement to connect with other liked minded individuals in order to support both our young black males and black females in their personal, educational, and social progression. GRCAM stand against Crime and Violence within our urban community. GRCAM goal is to increase the peace, encourage love, commitment, respect and new leadership. The deaths and bullying should not be ignored, but rather be prevented. We are tired of talking about black issues we want to solve black issues one community, one city, one state at a time.

I use social media to broadcast my revised book in order to recruit others to come forth and join my management team so that I can move my virtual organization from behind a computer. The internet is an amazing tool to use our voices to create social change. My book is just the beginning once I generate enough capital from my book sell and have my management team in place then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute in Chicago. My pledge to the inner city of Chicago residents is that none of my members will ever have to endure such humiliation and rejection just for trying to do something positive in the black community.

In time the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will hold live events dedicated to bringing awareness of the progress within the communities we will serve. We will show our films, stage plays, and music, hold discussion panels, and offer live entertainment from our students to a large audience. GRCAI is committed to the belief that unknown artists deserve the same opportunities as their mainstream famous counterparts. My Lord and Savior has envisioned me with GRCAI as a tourist attraction to promote diversity in the community to fund our programs and services. To be recognized as the best African American business within the United States. To become a major conduit for bringing new talent to the forefront, both in front of and behind the camera. GRCAI will provide a platform for our students featuring in our films, documentaries, short stories and music, offering a consistent means to reward and encourage artistic excellence. Our mission is to network and connect talented newcomers to the film and stage play industry.

In addition to our film screenings, GRCAI will present over 40 events and networking activities designed to educate, nurture career development and inspire attendees. We will open our independent film screenings, entertainment and talent discovery programs. GRCAI will focus on technology and initiatives to grow the number of black women filmmakers. We will create an audience of creative minds, tastemakers and Game changers. It’s my hope that we will attract a core audience of artists, entertainment executives and upscale film enthusiasts from around the country. We will work with native African film makes, Caribbean Islanders, and Afro-Brazilians will help attract corporate partnerships to promote our multicultural initiatives and cultivate relationships with multicultural talent. GRCAI partners will be essential to our long term success, which in turn contributes to the growth of a more diverse America. It’s my hope that the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will become a multifaceted Christian company to provide quality programs and services to the African American community. To stimulate economic development within the communities we will serve.
