The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute

GRCAI is based on my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. Once I generate enough capital from my revised book and have my management team in place then I will turn my virtual organization The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement into a real business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

GRCAI mission is to help end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. We will confront and use the ideas in my book to solve disparities within the African American community, the African Immigrant community, the Afro Brazilian community, and the Afro Caribbean community in the areas of education, cultural enrichment, social justice and economic empowerment.

We will offer a highly competitive program for our students who are interested in film making, storytelling, and social justice. GRCAI will help provide support and resources to transform the lives of African American youth and their families. GRCAI will inform, support, and engage the black community. GRCAI will be committed to confronting social issues by providing quality education, social justice, and economic empowerment that utilize innovative approaches to breaking this vicious cycle. Through a cultural lens GRCAI will leverage film and philanthropy to transform the quality of black people.

It’s my hope that my revised book would get into the hands of Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs who will work with me in starting my For Profit business in Chicago. As well as get into the hands of Donors, Philanthropist, and Sponsors who will work with me in starting my Nonprofit organization in Chicago. I am still searching for a legitimate film director and producer to work with me in turning my revised book into a motion picture. As soon as I have my film crew in place I will post that information on my websites. If you have purchased my revised book and agree with my plan or if you are an active group member I would encourage You to participate in our open audition for my urban Christian film based on my book when the time comes. If you are selected by our panel then I will discuss compensation with you sorry only U.S. citizens at this time.

It is my intention to use this page to inform and discuss issues affecting the black community. Are you sick and tired of career politicians playing games by not addressing the issues important to you and your family? Then work with me in starting our own independent political party at the local level starting in Chicago. Too many politicians, instead of governing to protect our liberties, have created a system that favors some at the expense of others. Those politicians use smoke and mirror techniques to make certain the system operates in their favor. Those actions have consequences. Those consequences are causing YOU and your families to suffer. But those conditions can be changed. It’s time to take back our power from career politicians. Under GRCAI you can elect our candidates who will work for all citizens, offer opportunity for business growth, and job creation within our community. Help spread my book information and I will work toward those goals I have written in my book with every action I take.

Under GRCAI Nonprofit Component:

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be a Christian socialist organization. Christian socialism is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. We believe capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, which some Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. The cause of social inequality is due to capitalism. I created GRCAM as a place where like minded individuals within the United States and abroad for people of all walks of life can gather in unison to fight for equality and social justice and for us to be on one accord.

GRCAM is about teaching the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve. GRCAM will offer a broad range of programs designed to empower and meet the growing need of the African American community, the African Immigrant community, Afro Brazilians, Afro Caribbeans. I welcome my Non-black sympathizers as well as all Christian denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people. Our shared values of racial, social, and economic development in urban communities. Under our nonprofit, GRCAI will reinvests all of our capital into the communities we will serve. Simply put, GRCAI exists to serve and benefit our communities.

GRCAI will be committed to providing quality programs and services to people in and outside of the community we will serve. We will work to improve the health of our community by conducting studies to determine the most pressing health issues facing our community. We will collaborate with other agencies in our community, from county health departments to social welfare agencies to make a real impact. We will reach out to those we are trying to help themselves to ensure they have access to our programs and services. We will conduct community research to address the root causes of health problems, such as poverty, homelessness, and environmental issues and develop action plans to solve them head on.
Our nonprofit programs and services will be exempt from income, sales and some property taxes. Our tax-exempt status means we will be able to solicit and receive philanthropic funds and government grants. The ability to access these funds is important to raise adequate capital needed to meet the ever growing and changing needs of our communities. Specifically, we are dedicated to invest in technology, facilities and programs that improve our clients and members access to our services, help our clinicians provide quality care, advance community research, and attract the most skilled and dedicated staff.

I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities within 10 states. My vision goes beyond Black America my vision also includes Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean Islands. Once we’re established in 10 cities I plan on having African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 10 countries in Africa. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate our people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAI.
