As stories of urban violence, police misconduct, and endless protests make headline news how does black parents explain these complicated events to our children. Where is the professional black middle class? For 25 years my message online and offline has been overlooked. I am using the only tools available to me to get my story out to the public my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, and my Blogtalkradio show. The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian organization into a real business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I keep re-emphasizing my revised book.

I believe once President elect Donald Trump begin cutting entitlement programs for the working poor and middle class maybe than black people will take a second look at my plan to improve our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. Beginning January 5th, 2017 I will focus more on promoting my blogtalkradio show (Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos) in order to get my message heard loud and clear by other like minded individuals. My revised book is just the beginning I plan on building the best African American organization within the United States God willing.

(Presenting My Action Plan To People Who Are Serious About Improving Our Inner Cities In 2017)

Posted in Community with tags , , on December 18, 2016 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a virtual Christian socialist organization. Christian socialism is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. We believe capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, which some Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. The cause of social inequality is due to capitalism. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. GRCAM will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.

GRCAM is committed in taking the lead in providing safer urban communities in America and throughout the world. Spreading the love of Christ Jesus in every place we go. We will do this through praying, feeding and clothing the poor. protecting the community we all love and live in. There is no community too difficult to reach or too violent that we won’t enter into in order to influence change and hope. We are that church minus the four walls. GRCAM is a prayer action network to help raise awareness for the need of prayer over senseless acts of violence in our community. We will promote healing for people affected by violence, and to change community reaction from passive acceptance to active rejection of violence on moral, ethical, and on spiritual grounds.

Once I generate enough capital from my book sell and connect with legitimate Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, Philanthropist, and Sponsors who will work with me in starting my Nonprofit and my For Profit business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. GRCAI will provide a comprehensive array of programs and services in the areas of health, housing, private employment and social justice within the communities we will serve.

There is a great burden on me to connect with other like minded business people and spiritual minded people to work with me in advancing the Kingdom by empowering our inner-cities starting in Chicago. I have been in prayer concerning how we can further the greatness of this work in Chicago. God has put a few things in my spirit to share with those who will become business partners with me and who will be devoted to the cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos. (Building GRCAM From The Ground UP)

Posted in Community with tags , , on December 10, 2016 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

My name is Emmanuel Barbee, I am the founder and president of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I created “GRCAM” on November 10th 1991 on a site called Gopher. My focus then was on inner city youth and their families who I believe are entitled to respect, basic resources, and safety in their own community. I wanted to create a space to empower black students on campus to share our experience, exchange ideas, and answer questions about our beliefs, and grapple with ethical problems we never considered before attending college. Today I have broaden my perspective that is to connect with other like minded progressive African Americans who are spiritually minded and business oriented in order for us to take the lead to rebuild our urban communities in America. Through GRCAM I want to build long term alliances with the African Immigrant community, the Afro Brazilian community, and the Afro Caribbean community. I also want to include our Nonblack sympathizers who are interested in working with us to solve black issues head on. In addition, I welcome all Christian denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people to join this new movement in Urban America.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is based on my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. GRCAM is currently a virtual Christian socialist organization.

What sets GRCAM apart from other black organizations is that I have a similar vision that Nehemiah had to rebuild the city and the entrepreneur sense as our forefathers had during Black Wall Street. It’s my hope that through my revised book I will come in contact with Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs who will work with me in starting my For-Profit business in Chicago. I also hope that my hope that my revised book I will come in contact with Donors, Philanthropist, and Sponsors who will work with me in starting my Non-profit organization in Chicago. GRCAM will provide a comprehensive array of programs and services in the areas of health, housing, jobs and social justice within the communities we will serve.

I want everyone in America to know my story and I encourage those of you who are concerned about my cause (Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos) by purchasing my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. The proceeds will go towards me hiring qualified people to assist me with the daily operations of my Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

The Mission

To end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute aspires to the healing mission of Christ on both the Westside and Southside of Chicago. The mission calls us to care for the sick and promote the health of the residents in the community while witnessing the Christian values of respect, dignity, caring and compassion for all persons. GRCAI will display the best of black culture, the poor, and powerless.

The Vision

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be recognized for its outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment in providing excellence in health care, and promoting and fostering comprehensive community wellness in the South Side community in Chicago. GRCAI will be sensitive and caring in reaching out to the community to facilitate the achievement of a physically, economically and spiritually healthy environment, characterized by high-quality programs and services.

It’s my hope that the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute would become the Hub in the Midwest for emerging artists and upcoming entrepreneurs. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities within 10 states. My vision goes beyond Urban America I plan on having African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 10 countries in Africa.

We will go through the proper channels with their government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. In time, we will expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands.

Our community will be built on values of faith, community service, stewardship and growth with friendship at the center of everything we do. GRCAI is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger. GRCAI is also about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to families that want to utilize our programs and services. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist.

GRCAI is private in order for me to weed out harden criminals, active gang members, urban terrorist and small minded individuals who careless about inner city youth and their families. GRCAI is membership base once we have a place of business in Chicago everyone who wants to join must attend our mandatory orientation and sign our consent form and be place in our database to make sure everyone is doing their part. My book is my pledge to all of my members is that none of my members would ever have to suffer such humiliation and rejection just for trying to do something positive in the black community. This is my contribution back to my community, society, and throughout the African Diaspora. Peace over violence

Theme: For 2017 “Our Inner City Youth Matters/ Restoring Kingdom Commitment” Matthew 6:10

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement was created for me to connect with other spiritual like minded individuals from across the United States and from around the globe in unison to prepare for spiritual warfare by Setting the Captives Free through God’s holy word while meeting the basic needs of the communities we will serve. GRCAM is the fastest growing virtual Christian organization online. I’m using social media to reach Millennials an entire NEW generation of Believers from around the world.

GRCAM is committed to promoting understanding, spirituality, and promote the best of black culture. GRCAM is currently a virtual Christian socialist organization.

What sets GRCAM apart from other black organizations is that I have the same vision of Nehemiah to rebuild the city and the entrepreneur sense as our forefathers had during Black Wall Street. Our people can discuss sports, politics, and religion but when I try to discuss my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos African Americans want to change the subject.

For 25 years I have been doing my best to find 30 qualified people in my city and online to join my management team yet still to this day I have not found anyone willing to join my management team. Established black organizations in my city has overlooked my plan to improve our inner cities in Chicago such as the Chicago Southside NAACP to the Chicago Westside NAACP, the Chicago Urban League, Rainbow PUSH, and the Ghana National Council of Chicago. No black churches in my city is interested in working with me they just tell me to keep up the good work but won’t allow me to pass out my book fliers after church services but allow career politicians to come and speak to the church Lord have mercy on my racial group.

Since 2001 over 4000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and as a result Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. We see that all of the protesting and chanting is not working to bring about social change. We see that nothing is working to end senseless violence in Chicago.
I am using the only tools currently available to me to get my message out to the public my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my Blogtalkradio show, and now my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition.

I wrote this book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason why I wrote my book is to promote my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. GRCAM will become a Nonprofit and also a For profit service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our focus is on providing goods and services to the low income African American community and working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve.

Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can hire qualified individuals to assist me in the daily operation of my business. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities. Once we’re established in America I plan on having African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 10 countries in Africa.

Our mission is to end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.

It’s my hope that my revised book would get into the hands of Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs who will work with me in starting my For Profit business in Chicago. As well as get into the hands of Donors, Philanthropist, and Sponsors who will work with me in starting my Nonprofit organization in Chicago.

The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian organization into a real business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I keep re-emphasizing my revised book. GRCAM will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community they will serve.

I refuse to be ignored I am committed to turning my virtual Christian organization into a real business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute on both the Westside and Southside of Chicago. I am calling upon progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro Brazilians, Afro Caribbeans, Non-black sympathizers as well as all Christian denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people to read my story and if you agree with my plan to improve our inner cities in America then help me get this organization started in Chicago. GRCAM is private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner city youth and their families. GRCAM is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community and throughout the African Diaspora.

Starting January 5th, 2017 I will use my blogtalkradio show to connect people on my friends list and those in my social groups an opportunity to promote there products and services for five minutes every Thursday from 10:00PM to 10:30PM Central Time. I will also be hosting webinars following the show on Facebook messenger to give people a chance to answer questions concerning the topics at hand. If you reside in Africa, Canada, or Europe I believe you are between 6 to 8 hours ahead of our time please make adjustments if you would like to take part in these events. Even if you miss this event you can always listen to the archives under episode which is available 24/7. The public number to call in is 1 (646) 668-8698 and press 1 to be on the show live.

I want ordinary law abiding citizens who is trying to make a positive impact in this world. I want to give local, national, and international grassroots entrepreneurs, ministries, Actors/Actresses, Artists, Comedians, Dancers, Fashion Designers, Film Makers, Models, Musicians, Poets, Gospel Singers, and Writers a chance to promote their talent and skills on this show until we are able to turn GRCAM into a real business. If you are interested in being on this show just send me a friend request on Facebook. I will discuss with you in more detail how you can promote yourself on this show. Me and Sister Rena will continue to encourage people on my friends list and those from the podcast community to read my story to promote their talents and skills with my podcast audience. We will promote your business, ministry, or music I want people to interact with me by sharing your personal testimonies, prayer request, and we will teach the word of God to every person.

It is our goal and Kingdom assignment to empower both young and old adults around the country through love and fellowship of Jesus Christ. In time we will conduct city wide conferences within GRCAI in which the spirit of the Lord will bring an “awakening” to those in need of a refreshing and manifested touch of the living savior in any area of their lives.

Not only will we host city wide conferences, but we will also host yearly retreats to encourage and teach our brothers and sisters how to remain awakened in their areas of gifting, ministry, education, and relationships. Along with our retreats and conferences, we will host quarterly fellowships in our local community to encourage accountability and fellowship among one another in the body of Christ.
