(My Urban Revival Series Is Coming To An End)

Next week will be the last Urban Revival Series in April. However, I will still give my Christian friends and associates an opportunity to come forth and preach and read The Word of God to my listeners in the Podcast community on my Blogtalkradio show entitled Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos.
In a dying world full of chaos and global threats, where can you find genuine answers to questions about relationships, finances, conflict, religion, current events, life’s purpose, your future and much more? The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will offer practical ways to help people improve their lives while praying for you, your family and all humanity.

Join GRCAM hosted by Emmanuel Barbee as he take you on a Bible-based exploration of positive solutions to today’s personal and world problems.

Jesus of Nazareth came with a specific message “The gospel of the kingdom of God.” It was the central theme of all that He preached and taught. In a world of religious confusion, the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement proclaims that same message.

God’s Great Purpose for All Mankind

USA Today published the results of a poll listing significant questions most on people’s minds. At the top of the list was “What is the purpose of life?”

What Is the True Gospel?

What was Jesus Christ’s message? He preached “The gospel of the kingdom of God” (Matthew 4:23; Matthew 9:35; Mark 1:14-15).

What Does Our Name Signify?

The name Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a virtual Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke4:18-19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve. This signifies how we are united in our commitment to faithfully follow the way of life and mission for the Church revealed and established by God and His Son, Jesus Christ, in the Holy Scriptures.

Preparing God’s People

The Church is to teach and care for those whom the Father calls, preparing them for greater works of service to God, their families, their communities and their fellow human beings. This is the goal of our many programs and activities.

The Feast of Tabernacles

The highlight of each year for GRCAM members is the biblical Feast of Tabernacles. Among the sacred feasts God revealed to ancient Israel, this festival lasts seven days and is immediately followed by a separate but related festival on the eighth day (Leviticus 23:34, Leviticus 23:36, Leviticus 23:39). This eight-day period remains an occasion for God’s people to come together for spiritual instruction and renewal.

Following in the Footsteps of the Apostles

Why are there so many church denominations? Perhaps a better question to ask is why so many churches’ beliefs differ from the Bible.

Responsible Stewardship and Accountability

The Bible repeatedly emphasizes that God’s servants are to be wise stewards and managers over the resources He provides. They are to recognize that those resources – financial, physical and spiritual belong to Him rather than any individual or organization. Accordingly, the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement, will put in place systems of checks and balances to avoid abuses or financial improprieties.

What Did the Early Church Believe and Practice?

The book of Acts records eyewitness accounts of the early Church from Christ’s resurrection until about A.D. 60. Chapter 2 records the beginning of the Church.

God’s Law and the New Covenant

Many assume that, because Jesus Christ instituted the New Covenant, God’s laws are thereby made obsolete. They lean on this argument to ignore His commandments. But what does Jesus Himself say?

Hope for a Troubled World

God’s desire is that every human being live as He commands and ultimately receive His gift of salvation to become a part of His family and Kingdom. This vision is what motivates members of the Church in their collective responsibility.
