(Help Wanted: Calling Upon Brave & Smart Millennials)

I wrote my story as a last resort to connect with like minded individuals beyond cyberspace because for over 10 years my plan to improve the inner cities of Chicago has been overlooked by established black organizations as a result over 4,000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and Chicago has been labeled the current murder capital in America. I refuse to allow small minded individuals who lack a vision for Black people to silence me.

African American from the lower economic class are suffering great harm from senseless violence, high unemployment, mass incarceration, police brutality, inadequate healthcare and failing school system as a result of institutionalized racism. We as black people are divided based on how the financial elites have condition us through social class, religion, and our political affiliation. Our ancestors created the wealth for the United States and our ancestors created Black Wall Street within our community.

Nowadays, our professional black middle class prefer to keep their distance from working with brothers like me who want to do more than just open up a nonprofit store front but re-create Black Wall Street in our inner cities rather than wait on career politicians and or the government to decide to invest in our community. I am looking for investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, and Philanthropist, who will work with me in setting up and starting my nonprofit and my for-profit Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago as mentioned in my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. I provide a detail 21st century plan about how my organization will help eradicate urban violence in Chicago while meeting the social needs of the communities and families we will serve.

I witness the Occupy Wall Street Movement and the Black Lives Matter Movement came about through social media. Both movements have good intentions about getting their message out to the public. Both movements are global and they do lots of marches and protest but they fail short at getting laws implemented on the books.
I created the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement back in 1991 on a site called Gopher in order to connect with other like-minded individuals who are interested in organizing, strategizing, and networking with me in order to gather support for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago. The mission is simple to let every inner-city survivor know that we love them and care about their circumstances. We all have mountains to climb, but when it comes to our forgotten children who are trapped in American ghettos, no child should have to climb that mountain alone. We must protect our fellow citizens and global citizens.

Our fight to prevent harden criminals and urban terrorist from hijacking our culture and heritage by creating our films. Shows like Empire and Power only glorify violence, criminality, and perpetuate the stereotype of black men. It’s my hope that I could connect with a legitimate film director and producer who will work with me in turning my revised book into a motion picture. It’s also my hope that GRCAI it will become the Hub throughout the Midwest for emerging black artists and upcoming black entrepreneurs.

Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos online talkshow is one way I try to get my message out to the public. I use my show as a platform to interact with people on my friends list/people in my social groups in order to recruit brave and smart people who meet the qualifications I am looking for to join my management team. My show is about discussing controversial topics within the black community from spiritual warfare, health and wellness, political/social issues and current events as it pertains to End times prophecy.

I also created my show to give ordinary Law-Abiding Citizens, Activist, Artist, Musicians, Poets, Gospel Singers, Writers, Small Ministries, and upcoming Entrepreneurs locally, nationally, and internationally an opportunity to promote their products/services or share their Special Talents/Skills with my listeners from the podcast community in the convenience and privacy of your home.

My show is available every Thursday evening from 10:00PM to 10:30PM Central Time. I also do an extended weekend edition for busy people who are unable to participate on Thursday evenings as well as to accommodate my international friends who live on different time zones. If I have guest speakers during the weekend edition I will post that information on my page and in my social groups. The days and times are as follows: Friday through Sunday from 5:00PM to 5:30PM Central Time. Even if you miss these events you can always listen to the archives which is available 24/7 on Blogtalkradio, Freeconferencecalls, or on Spreaker. You don’t have to be a Christian to be on my show all I ask is that you respect our beliefs. It’s my hope that in time my show will take the lead in providing a variety of products and services for consumers and businesses, with a focus on e-commerce, finance, and digital content.
The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is based on three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component which is optional for secular people, and a political component.

Under our spiritual component – our focus is on spreading the love of Jesus Christ to individuals, families and communities through a wholistic approach rooted in our fundamental understanding of human beings as created in the image of God.
GRCAM is a virtual Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin.

We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35-40. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.

Under our social service component – We will form our own charitable foundation which would raises money for our homeless members and our second chance ex-offenders program. GRCAM will confront one of the most challenging battles in our society urban violence, substance abuse, poverty and high unemployment in our inner cities in America. Instead of ignoring these social issues GRCAM will help meet the need of these issues by using God’s word while focusing on solving these issues one community, one city, one state at a time. Armed with this knowledge of the challenges the mission of GRCAM is to raise awareness and resources within the communities and cities we will serve.

In contrast, under our for-profit division Business initiative (BI) will be a partnership of our private employment business opportunities to our members by ensuring fairness, equity and standards of excellence. BI will work to improve employment opportunities for our future employees, enter into the entertainment industry, manufacturing industry and the advertisement industry will ensure that a skilled workforce is created within the communities we will serve. Through GRCAM, skilled workers through our Christian business will help raise respect back to the African American community and it’s residents.

GRCAM will offer apprenticeship programs to individuals seeking information about careers in the trade industry. Apprenticeship programs have provided employment opportunities to get classroom instruction and on the job PAID internship without the burden of large student loans. Our students will learn and have access to the state of the art technology in the trades and beyond. Our films and stage plays will help fund our apprenticeship programs and services. The community pledge will be a sign of commitment from our members, students, staff and community residents is at the heart of this organization based on what I have written in my book. My pledge is only to our members and I will work with them and their families for life as long as they remain members. We will provide well-trained employees and proficient skilled workforce for the city of Chicago. We will support the advancement of African Americans in business and technology in our communities. We will form a cooperative alliance with organizations beyond the black community that has a mission similar mission.

Under our political component – We will create our own independent political party at the local level. We will educate the community and push for community rights by creating our own laws known as community rights and get those laws on the books which will be compatible with the dominant culture. Our laws would protect our local residents and give the community a voice and those affected by bias in the current system. We will hold both Rogue Cops and Urban Terrorist accountable for their actions in a constructive manner. We will form cooperative alliance beyond the black community so that this organization can be diverse for all people of Chicago and surrounding suburbs of Chicago.

Both the Democratic and Republican parties are owned by the financial elites. The working class, middle class, and so called underclass blacks and others need to unite against the present oligarchy or financial elites since they alone benefit from corporate welfare, the prison pipeline industrial complex’s endless wars, and social welfare services for those unable to work. Our politicians are bought and paid for by these rich donors and special interest groups. The working class is being scammed by both the rich and those milking the system. GRCAM is dedicated for revolutionary economic equality and social justice for all working class people.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is about connecting with like minded Christian denominations, Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean, Non-Black Sympathizers, Moderate Muslims and Secular People to take a stand against the 1%. who is hoarding all of the earth’s resources. I need boots on the ground here in Chicago and in10 other cities within 10 states this is why I am trying to turn my story into a real business. This blog post is dedicated to building “smart boots” campaign on a local, national, and international level. We need to be ready to pound the pavement in cold wet weather to reach our non-digital counterparts in “not-so-friendly” neighborhoods while being organized safe and effective. It’s time to person-up to raise awareness on the streets, and help spread my vision across the United States and beyond.

I love Africa and all African people I pray for peace, prosperity, and the glory of God upon Africa. I don’t have another 25 years to waste please encourage your family members or friends from your country who reside in the United States, Canada, or Europe to purchase my revised book and read my story. The sooner I begin my organization in America the sooner we can discuss expanding GRCAM on the African continent you have word.

After GRCAM is established in 10 cities in America I plan to expand my Christian organization to 10 countries in Africa with the assistance of African Immigrants in America. They will assist me in setting up chapters in 10 countries such as in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda. GRCAM objective in Africa is to help improve the lives of our African people while at the same time improve the African economy especially for those who reside in marginalized/disadvantaged communities so they to can participate in our programs and services.

We will go through the proper channels with their government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy while educating the people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. In time, we will expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands.

GRCAM is membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAM is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

The Plan:

To mobilize volunteers who will spread my book information and gain the boots on the street to reach non-digital working class and middle class blacks and non-blacks throughout the Mid-West.

Technology:

Use your smart phone mobile apps to enable networking GPS aware mapping to see all enrolled boots and canvassing local neighborhoods in realtime
Ride share and drivers
Safety support with alert alarm function on map
Calendar of local events

I have a kingdom builder mindset. No matter how bad I want to start my Christian organization, I won’t start it until either I have my management team in place first or until my book makes it on the best sellers list in order for me to generate enough capital from my book sell to hire qualified individuals who will assist me and Sister Rena with the daily operations of my business.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised. I lowered the price of my book from $25.00 to $15.00 also I am getting my book to become an ebook for $9.99 I am trying to generate enough capital so that I can hire qualified people to assist me in the daily operation of my Christian organization (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago.

Emmanuel Barbee is not interested in running for public office instead his focus is on building a positive organization on the Westside and Southside of Chicago in order to uplift the low-income African American community and provide quality programs and services to at risk youth and their families in a safe environment. Please read his story and take the time to research him. Here are some links to get you started!
