(Who Is Emmanuel Barbee? What Is His Vision For Black America & Africa?)

I am the founder and president of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I created (GRCAM) on November 11th 1991 on a site called Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, in order for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern for us to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago. We will take the lead in improving our community one city at a time. It’s my hope that through my virtual Christian organization I could form cooperative alliance with similar organizations beyond the black community, and support one another which will make a real impact in our racial group. GRCAM is about displaying the best of black culture. I am on 300 social networks and I correspond with 125,000 worldwide. GRCAM is not just online groups for me to sell a book but rather a support system for us to build our own network so we can support one another.

After 15 years of being ignored and rejected by established black organizations in my city I decided to write and publish my story “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. My book is just the beginning I want to be remember for trying to do something positive for my people who are trapped in American ghettos as well as doing something positive for my ancestral homeland Africa through my future Christian business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

This will help me speed up the process to recruit and hire brave and smart African Immigrants in America to assist me in starting my Christian organization in America for credibility before we expand on the African continent.

We will go through the proper channels with their government to start our (NGO) Non- government organization. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. In time, we will expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands.

GRCAI is a Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology.

Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35-40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.

I am calling for new leadership in Black America I have a vision and a plan which will help advance our people and those who work with us for given a chance. 26 years established black organizations in my city have overlook my ideas yet things are getting worse especially for poor blacks who reside in the inner cities. African Americans have been protesting and marching for equality in the United States for 52 years and still black people continue to chant no justice no peace there is no substance just slogans. African American from the lower economic class are suffering great harm from senseless violence, high unemployment, mass incarceration, police brutality, drug abuse, high illiteracy, inadequate healthcare and failing schools as a result of institutionalized racism.

It’s time for us as digital citizens to create a world that we want our children to grow up in it starts by turning my ideas into action. One way African Americans can fight back without marching and protest is by purchasing my book and participating on my online talkshow until I start GRCAI in Chicago. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement pledges to support its active members once we are established in the city of Chicago as mention in my revised book.

We will offer Christian guidance for both our Christian members and our Non-Christian members. We want to connect with other like minded individuals who are interested in improving our inner cities and empower local residents to become part of the solution by joining this organization. We aim to inspire and unite the Westside and the Southside of Chicago residents in order for us to make our urban communities better, healthier, and safer, for the sake of our next generation.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will create a contemporary theater that is accessible and relevant for all people through quality productions of new plays and musicals. GRCAI aims to become the leader in developing and producing new theatre work and cultivating an inclusive theater community. Art that reflective the Black experience, Cultural Curators are vital to the work of GRCAI. Spoken word will become a mechanism for political activism. Hip hop has therapeutic attributes which serves as a community engagement tool. Both art forms will be used in this organization. The hyper-intellectual aspect of our social policy will become more palatable through our performance art.

The Visual Arts Program will consist of two a year program, taught by professional artists, allowing students to moving image, new genres, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. We will have a music studio for students who are interested in creating their own music which will be used in our films and stage plays. We will also have our own local radio station to help promote what we are doing in the community as well as help promote our students with their startup businesses.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will offer our students an opportunity to learn film making and radio broadcasting with faculty of working professionals in the independent film community. We want to attract students from around the world and our curriculum will foster cutting-edge creativity, intellectual rigor and hands-on practicality Report, Shoot, and Editing work on-air and behind the camera. Students can learn on¬-air skills, take a radio or podcasting class, experiment with virtual reality and hone the techniques that are essential to working in this digital age.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will be membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
