(Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Online Talkshow)

Posted in Community with tags , , on May 26, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I offer something that no black leader in America has and that is a 21st century plan to improve our inner cities in America starting in Chicago and the slums in Africa. I am called by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to rebuild our inner cities in America and the slums in Africa similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and inventors to rebuild a new city. Their innovations born of passion and practical ingenuity shaped not just Jerusalem, but the modern world.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my blogtalkradio show, and now through my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition which is available on Amazon. In my book I offer a 21st century strategy about what my organization will do to help reduce urban violence while at the same time improve our inner cities in America starting in Chicago.

Since my virtual Christian organization GRCAM only exist online I will continue to do what I can to encourage others about my plan/vision to improve our inner cities in America and my vision to improve the slums in Africa until either I generate enough capital from my book sell to hire qualified people to assist me with the daily operations of my Christian business or if 10 individuals within the United States who have read my story and meet the qualifications that I am looking for come forth and work with me and Sister Rena.

I am looking for: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, and Philanthropist, who will work with me in setting up and starting my nonprofit and my for profit organization then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute in Chicago as mentioned in my revised book. GRCAM is membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAM is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

(GRCAM vs. McDonalds)

Posted in Community with tags , , on May 26, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I’m not interested in running for public office instead my focus is on finding other like minded individuals who think outside the box like me. I am looking for a few brave and smart people who will join my management team 10 individuals within the United States who have read my story “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition and meet the qualifications that I am looking for which is as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, and Philanthropist, who will work with me in setting up and starting my nonprofit and my for profit Christian business. Then I will move my virtual Christian organization from behind a PC starting in Chicago.

GRCAM is for the working class and so called underclass we also want to include professionals from the middle class to join us so that we can provide quality jobs, programs, and services within urban communities instead of waiting on career politicians to decide to do the right thing. Instead of workers protesting major corporations for higher wages if that same energy was use to work with me in getting GRCAM started in Chicago and in 10 other cities we could make a real impact in our society. Those wage increases will not take place under President Trump.

America has become the wicked empire that we have long fought against in time past. The world economy under capitalism have created new forms of economic slavery, outsourcing jobs, gutting the voters rights act, cuts to social security, creating a multi-billion dollar prison industrial complex has transformed the face of America. We have become the very thing we fought against, an oppressor of nations around the world for capital gain, a nation which taxes it’s citizens without giving them the proper economic protection for the common man/woman and the disrespect of African Americans and other racial groups. America has become an oppressor of the poor living in the United States.

America claim to be founded on freedom and justice for all through its economic gains through slavery, separate but equal laws and civil and human rights violation has brought great suffering on the back of African Americans living in the United States. Since World War II, America has changes amending the Constitution of the United States to insure equal and just treatment of all Americans; Yet, even until this day the blood of black Americans fill America’s streets and our black sons fill the prison system nationwide, showing that African Americans are still not totally free.

In the Fight for $15, movement unions are helping to organize on a community level, a group of workers who are on the fringe of the economy. It’s not about union members protecting themselves. It’s about moving other people up. This is the whole civil rights movement all over again. For example, the Fight for $15 an hour involves child care, home healthcare, airport, gas station, convenience store, and fast food workers striking for increased pay and the right to form a union with their employers.

On November 29, 2012, over 100 fast-food workers from McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Domino’s, Papa John’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut walked off their jobs in New York City, to strike for higher wages, better working conditions and the right to form a union without retaliation from their managers. Many workers were making the minimum wage at the time. However, many allegedly were making, and are currently making, less than the minimum wage due to wage theft on the part of their employers. Earning less than a living wage has forced many fast-food workers to have multiple jobs, obtain food stamps and other forms of government assistance, in order to afford basic food, shelter and clothing.

On April 4, 2013 the 45th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Memphis Sanitation Strike more than 200 fast-food workers went on strike in New York City. Hundreds of other workers went on strike in Chicago on April 24, in Detroit on May 10, in St. Louis on May 9 and May 10, in Milwaukee on May 15 and in Seattle on May 30. On July 29, approximately 2,200 workers went on strike in all of the cities where fast-food workers had previously gone on strike with the addition of Flint, Michigan and Kansas City, Missouri. On December 6, 2013, further fast food strikes occurred nationwide in a campaign aimed at raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour.

On September 4, 2014, another national strike took place in more than 150 cities, but this time thousands of Home care workers joined the fast food workers. In another departure from previous protests, organizers shifted tactics and encouraged acts of civil disobedience such as sit ins to further draw attention to their cause. Between 159 and 436 arrests were made. Striking fast food workers from Ferguson, Missouri were arrested in Times Square, New York City, in solidarity with workers there nearly a month after the police Shooting of Michael Brown. Chants of “15 and a union” were accompanied by “Hands up, don’t shoot” and “I can’t breathe.” Kendall Fells, organizing director for Fast Food Forward, claimed the strikes were “fights against injustice in the U.S.”

On April 15, 2015, tens of thousands of fast food workers in more than 200 cities took to the streets again in what labor organizers have described as the largest protest by low-wage workers in US history. In their campaign to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, labor activists and fast food workers were joined by home care assistants, Walmart workers, child-care aides, airport workers, Adjunct professors and others who work low-wage jobs.

This show is available every Thursday evening from 10:00PM to 10:30PM Central Time.

(I Want Everyone In America To Know My Story The Solution For Black America)

Posted in Community with tags , , on May 21, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I offer something that no black leader in America has and that is a 21st century plan to improve our inner cities in America starting in Chicago and the slums in Africa. What’s happening now in the black community is offensive to me our values and who we are as African Americans. My goal is to recreate Black Wall Street in the inner cities of America once I have my management team in place. Our government has failed to protect American citizens who reside in urban communities. None of us can afford to ignore the senseless violence taken place in Chicago and other major cities across the United States. I refuse to sit on the sidelines this is why I created my virtual Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.

I assist people on my friends list and people in my social groups who have exchanged emails with me with creating basic websites, how to create podcast/Webinars, I offer a platform for people to promote their products/services, I assist others with finding college scholarships/grants; housing; legal services; all for free. I hold free weekly webinars on Facebook Messenger, Google Plus Hangouts, and on Skype. I created Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos online talkshow as a way to interact with people on my friends list and people who are in my social groups to give ordinary law abiding activist, artist, church leaders, and small business owners an opportunity to promote their products/services or talents/skills to my listeners from the Podcast community in the convenience and privacy of your home.

My show is available every Thursday evening from 10:00PM to 10:30PM Central Time. I also do an extended weekend edition for busy people who are unable to participate on Thursday evenings as well as to accommodate my international friends who live on different time zones. If I have guest speakers during the weekend edition I will post that information on my page and in my social groups.

The days and times are as follows: Friday through Sunday from 5:00PM to 5:30PM Central Time either on Facebook Messenger, Google Plus. Hangouts, or on Skype I can only give you 15 minutes which will be record on Speaker.com I use to be on blogtalkradio but last month BTR wanted me to start paying for my shows since my book sells are low I had to use other social sites to promote my online talkshow. All I ask is that they support me by purchasing my revised book and sharing my book information with their family, friends, places of worship, and also at their local community center this will help speed up the process.

I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher in order to connect with other like minded individuals who are interested in networking with me in order for me to gather support for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.

GRCAM is a virtual Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke4:18-19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.

I wrote my book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason is to promote my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.

GRCAM will become both a nonprofit division and a for profit division service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our focus is on providing goods and services to the low income African American community and strengthen single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families. In time we will offer a second chance program for ex-offenders, former gang members, and homeless individuals. Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute and hire qualified individuals to assist me in the daily operation of my Christian organization.

I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities within 10 states. GRCAM will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community they will serve. Our mission is to help reduce urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. My revised book is the foundation of this new organization in Urban America.

GRCAM will have five components:

* Our Social service component – We will provide goods and services to the low income African American community by working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve. We will offer private employment within the organization to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. In Our goal is to first stabilize the community through our outreach programs and services and create legitimate jobs so that our young people don’t become career criminals. As a result we will have safer streets where our clients can raise their families.

* Our spiritual component – (Optional for secular people) as mentioned above.

* Our political component – We will create our own independent political party at the local level. We will educate the community and push for community rights by creating our own laws known as community rights and get those laws on the books which will be compatible with the dominant culture. Our laws would protect our local residents and give the community a voice and those affected by bias in the current system. We will hold both Rogue Cops and Urban Terrorist accountable for their actions in a constructive manner. We will form cooperative alliance beyond the black community so that this organization can be diverse for all people of Chicago and surrounding suburbs of Chicago.

* Our Entertainment component – We will host the best African American DJs, African Immigrant DJs, Afro Brazilian DJs and Afro Caribbean DJs. We will display the best of black culture has to offer: from concerts, workshops/seminars, and plenty of family friendly activities. We will host the best parties in Chicago, with various music genres such as Reggae, Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop/Holy Hip Hop, Spoken word and more. We will create the best films and stage plays in Chicago, and we will promote unknown artist who become members of this organization. It’s my hope that the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute would become the Hub in the Midwest for emerging artists and upcoming black entrepreneurs.

* Our Entrepreneurship component – we will provide help accelerate black business ownership within the black community which will help strengthen the black family which would make an impact in the economy.
GRCAM will become a platform for creators. We will offer quality programs and services, special events, the latest technology and an awesome community for creators.

We never settle. We get things done. We are persistent and knock down any barriers that is trying to prevent us from reaching our God given potential.

Grateful

We are grateful for this opportunity to be part of this movement. We don’t take success for granted.

Together

We are in this together. This is a team effort. We always look out for one another. We know we can’t do this task alone.

Our Team

Our mission doesn’t end with just starting a business within the black community but rather we believe in empowering our team members to reach their personal life goals. We accept any challenge, we look after each other and care about our culture.

I’m a passionate advocate for at-risk youth. I believe there isn’t a better investment we can make as a society than to invest in our youth. I’m a student of history and know the importance of learning from it. We will teach our youth to fight against bigotry, hatred and intolerance at the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement, so inner city youth can stand up against hatred in our society. You can’t pull yourself up by your bootstraps if you don’t have any boots. It’s what everyone in America and throughout the world deserves, it’s what I’ve been fighting for my whole life, and it’s what I’ll continue to fighting for until God calls me home. Since Black America has rejected my plan to improve our inner cities in America for the past 25 years I have decided to narrow my focus to 10 cities instead of 25 cities. It’s my hope to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities within 10 states.

I want to build alliances with African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean, Non-black sympathizers as well as all Christian denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people who are interested in working with me in turning my vision into a reality to come forth I don’t have another 25 years to waste talking to people who don’t care about my cause. My vision goes beyond Urban America I plan to expand my Christian organization to 10 countries in Africa through the assistance of African Immigrants in America. They will assist me in setting up chapters in 10 countries in Africa.

Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda. GRCAM objective in Africa is to help improve the lives of our African people while at the same time improve the African economy especially for those who reside in marginalized/disadvantaged communities so they to can participate in our programs and services. We will go through the proper channels with their government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. In time, we will expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands.

GRCAM is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger. GRCAM is also about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to families that want to utilize our programs and services. Our commitment is to strengthen the black family and provide quality programs and services, which will help improve the lives of our members no matter their gender, age, race, or religion.

Once I generate enough capital from my book sell or have my management team in place we will offer quality programs and services, social activities, and live events that will help improve our inner-cities in America. GRCAM is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

[Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Online Talkshow]

Posted in Community with tags , , on May 19, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

My presentation “Crisis In Urban America” the United States is the world’s leader in incarceration, with 2.2 million people currently in the nation’s prisons or jails. Mass incarceration and over criminalization have particularly affected communities of color, which make up more than 60 percent of the population behind bars. And nationally, 70 million and 100 million or one in three Americans now have a criminal record, which can serve as a barrier to many of the basic building blocks of economic security and mobility, such as employment and housing. I discuss mass incarceration in chapter six in my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition.

These trends have contributed to a culture of poverty; if not for mass incarceration and the criminal records that can haunt people for decades thereafter, our nation’s poverty rate would have dropped by one-fifth between 1980 and 2004. Recent events in cities across the nation have highlighted the lack of opportunity, inequities, and challenges confronting many of our communities, raised serious questions about police practices, and helped fuel the need for comprehensive criminal justice reform. Please join the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement on Google Plus, Facebook Messenger and on Skype for an in depth discussion of how we can begin to reverse the trend of over criminalization of people of color and address its lasting consequences, including reforming policing practices and removing barriers to opportunity for people with criminal records.
