About GRCAM

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will take the lead in the fight to improve the African American community starting in Chicago. GRCAM empower it’s members to network with one another, promote small business, ministries and give people with special talents and skills an opportunity to share it with my listeners from the podcast community. GRCAM champion a more just, equal, and fair society for everyone. It’s not my goal to keep GRCAM behind a computer but rather gain support to move GRCAM from behind a computer into the city of Chicago and 10 other cities throughout the Mid-West and 10 countries on the African continent.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a global community with one mission that is to gather other ordinary like-minded law abiding citizens who are concerned about improving the living conditions of underserved communities for people of color from American ghettos to the slums of Africa.

Emmanuel Barbee created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher in order to connect with other like-minded individuals who shares his vision to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and from around the globe for his cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.
GRCAM uses a community-based approach to connect with people from around the globe through his free webinars on his online talkshow Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos on Blogtalkradio and Spreaker in order for him to interact with people in his social groups in real time.

I am actively putting my advocating skills to use through my blog postings, my online talkshow, my social groups, my Youtube videos and now through my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon. In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.

My book is just the beginning what I want to be remembered for is trying to build something positive in the black community instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the government. I am asking everyone on my friends list and everyone in my social groups to please support me by purchasing my revised book, read my story for yourself, and sharing my book information with your family, friends, place of worship and also at your local community center. This will help speed up the process for me to move GRCAM from behind a PC so that I can do all of the things which I have written.

Once I have my management team in place or generate enough capital from my book sell then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. GRCAI will create documentary films, stage plays, and provide a recreation center for local residents on our premises.

What makes GRCAI different from other black organizations is that GRCAI is based on my experience and my book is the foundation of my Christian organization. It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure to celebrate Chicago’s Artist who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta and become the Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs.

The goal for my book is as follows:

* For my readers to fully understand my purpose and my vision for the Black Community

* To recruit brave and smart people within the United States who have the talent and skills to help make this organization effective and successful

* To provide a framework for other community activist with similar goals to improve their communities and form a cooperative alliance with us

My ideas will not come to life on it’s own. People are needed to help turn the vision into a reality. People acting as individuals, working together in groups, and leading others. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is committed to advancing the cause. We invite others to join us in reclaiming our urban communities in order to make our community a better place for our future generation.

GRCAM Community Pledge

GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement pledges to support its active members once we are established in the city of Chicago as mention in my revised book. Specifically, we will:

* To advocate for our members and offer quality programs and services to the communities we will serve. Create space where individuals are respected and have a voice in a safe environment.

* Connect with Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilian/Afro-Caribbean, all Christian denominations, Millennials, Non-black sympathizers, moderate Muslims and secular people who are interested in working with me in turning my ideas into action.

* Form equal partnership with local residents who want to become members. Offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. Offer a second chance program for ex-offenders of non-violent crimes, former gang members and assist homeless individuals who want to utilize our programs and services. Build trust between community residents and local police department.

Dear cyber friends & associates,

The time has come for me to move my virtual Christian organization GRCAM the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement a social network for Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilian/Afro-Caribbean, all Christian denominations, Millennials, Non-black sympathizers, moderate Muslims and secular people who are interested in working with me in turning my ideas into action. My blogs and my social groups are designed to help me form a legitimate coalition to help solve the many issues facing the black community today.

I am asking everyone on my friends list and everyone in my social groups to please support me by purchasing my revised book, read my story for yourself, and sharing my book information with your family, friends, place of worship and also at your local community center. This will help speed up the process for me to move GRCAM from behind a PC so that I can do all of the things which I have written I can’t do everything I am just one black man with a plan.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon. In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families starting in Chicago. My book is just the beginning what I want to be remembered for is trying to build something positive in the black community instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the government.

Our mission to re-create Black Wall Street in our urban community. In addition to help eradicate urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities they will serve if given a chance. I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher in order to connect with other like-minded individuals who are interested in networking with me in order for me to gather support for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.

GRCAM is about empowering disadvantaged black families living in despair to become self-sufficient and successful citizens through our programs and services. Under our spiritual component (optional for secular people) We are about Proclaiming, Informing and displaying an authentic form of Christianity.

Vision

By means of the doctrines believed in and practiced by the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, as founded in the Holy Scriptures of the New Testament, we see ourselves serving the unmet spiritual, physical, educational, social, psychological, and recreational needs of all needy families of the world, regardless of their faith, beliefs, and human diversity.

Commission

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

* Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, and especially to our “kinsmen according to the flesh.”

* Inform people with the news that impacts Christians around the world.

* Inspire people with Christian-based stories, literature, books and prayer and soul-winning materials.

* Educate people regarding the matters of spiritual warfare, prayer, witnessing for Christ, and occupying until Jesus comes.

One of the reasons why GRCAM Gospel was started is because, Black Christians are over looked in Christian media and Christian publications, operated and controlled by the Right Wing Evangelical Christians who exclude many Black and Hispanic Christians that make up a huge part of the body of Christ in America and around the world. There are more than just one or two African-American Christians doing great things for the Kingdom of God.

It’s my hope that GRCAM Gospel will established itself as one of the leading Christian organization from an urban perspective that actually reaches all people Red, Yellow, Black, Brown and White, for all are precious in God’s site.
GRCAM is about promoting economic empowerment for blacks through advocacy, education, philanthropy, free webinars for political, spiritual and social issues affecting the black community.

My online talkshow Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is an online platform serving the African American community and the Black Community throughout the African Diaspora. My target audience are African Americans and urban listeners from the podcast community. My goal is to embrace the positive aspect of black culture. My show will empower the African American and the Black community at large by providing news, information, urban entertainment, community events, which speak uniquely and directly to our audience’s values and needs.

It’s my hope that someday when I start my real Christian business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago we will provide quality entertainment, music, news and legitimate jobs in the African American community. GRCAM is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger.

It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure for Chicago Artist who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta and become the Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs.

No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. (Come Celebrate 26 Years OF GRCAM With Emmanuel Barbee)

Posted in Community with tags , , on September 10, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

Everyone on my Facebook Page, Google Plus Page, LinkedIn Page, Twitter Page and WordPress Page are invited to my upcoming event “Celebrating GRCAM 26 Anniversary” on Friday November 10, 2017 from 10:00PM to 12:00AM Central Time on Facebook messenger and Skype which will be broadcast from Spreaker. If you are unable to connect with me through Facebook messenger then send me a friend request on Skype my screen name is manwell4mankind.

Who Is Emmanuel Barbee?

Emmanuel is called by his creator to rebuild the inner cities in America similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and inventors to rebuild a new city. Likewise, Emmanuel I will use qualified individuals to assist him in his assignment.

Emmanuel is trying to start a new movement in Black America called the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. Emmanuel is a professional blogger, an online talkshow host, an upcoming social entrepreneur and a new urban author of the book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon. In his revised book Emmanuel provide a 21st century plan on how his Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families starting in Chicago.

His book is an autobiography about his experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. He wrote this story for three reasons. One – to raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place in our inner cities in America.

Another reason is to promote his virtual Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. GRCAM is a Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35-40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19.

GRCAM will become a nonprofit and also a for profit service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. GRCAM focus is on providing quality programs and services to the low income African American community who want to utilize his programs and services. GRCAM will work directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities they will serve.

Lastly, he wrote his book in order to generate capital/seed money so that he can hire qualified individuals to assist him in the daily operation of his business. Emmanuel wants to make Chicago a model first before they expand to 10 other cities within 10 states.

My book is just the beginning what I want to be remembered for is trying to build something positive in the black community instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the government. I am seeking between 10 to 30 qualified individuals within the United States who have read my story and have the expertise in the following areas: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist. I am also looking for legitimate artists such as film directors, producers, actors, stage managers, fundraisers, technical directors and marketers who can come to Chicago and join my management team.

Once I have my management team in place or generate enough capital from my book sell then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. What makes GRCAI different from other black organizations is that GRCAI is based on my experience and my book is the foundation of my Christian organization. It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure for Chicago Artist who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta and become the Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs.

GRCAM/GRCAI will promote economic empowerment for blacks through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and community research. GRCAI is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger. Once we’re established in America he plans on having African Immigrants in America to assist him in setting up chapters in 10 countries in Africa.

Our mission to re-creating Black Wall Street in our urban community. Also to help eradicate urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities they will serve if given a chance. The only thing which is preventing Emmanuel from starting his Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why he turned to social media to get his message out to the public through his Youtube videos, his Social Groups, his Blog Postings, his online talkshow, and now through his revised book.

I encourage all of my group members to please purchase my book and share my book information with your family, friends, place of worship and also at your local community center. I encourage men and women with at least an associate degree to please consider joining my management team but read my story so that I don’t have to waste time explaining everything which is already written in the book.

GRCAM/GRCAI is membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. (GRCAM The Inner-Cities Revolution & The Solution For Black America)

Posted in Community with tags , , on September 7, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

I hope and pray that everyone on my friends list and everyone in my social groups would participate in my upcoming event in November “Celebrating GRCAM 26 Anniversary” on November 10, 2017 from 10:00PM to 12:00AM Central Time on Facebook messenger and Skype which will be broadcast on Spreaker. If you are unable to connect with me through Facebook messenger then send me a friend request on Skype my screen name is manwell4mankind. I posted all of the information about my event on my Facebook wall and in all of my social groups on Facebook and Google Plus.

I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher in order to connect with other like-minded individuals who are interested in networking with me in order for me to gather support for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.
The purpose of my virtual Christian organization is for me to connect with other like minded individuals who are just as concerned about our inner city youth and improving the black community as much as I am.

I also created this organization to connect with authentic Christians across the United States and from around the globe to be in agreement with me that God will turn my virtual Christian organization into a real business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago.

With all of the drama taking place across the United States surely I thought that after 15 years of reaching out to people in my city and online that I could connect with at least 20 individuals who would come forth and work with me in turning my ideas into action not so. I am using social media to spread the vision given to me by my Lord and Savior Jesus. I am called to unite with other Kingdom Builders to reclaim our society and release the roar of Zion to awaken real Christians in this day and age.

I love God but hate religion because religious people are the ones who had Jesus crucified. I am a Kingdom Citizen that believes that ministry flows out of relationship. My assignment is to building a new movement in Black America and in Africa which will ignite this nation and Africa through a miracle only from God himself. It’s my hope that through my story “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition God will connect me with brave and smart individuals in America who will come to Chicago and assist me in getting my Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute up and running.

It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure for Chicago Artist who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta and become the Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs. GRCAI is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger.

GRCAI will Promote diversity within the black culture I seek Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilian/Afro-Caribbean to come forth and assist me in getting this organization started. GRCAI will build cooperative alliances with all Christian denominations, Millennials, Non-black sympathizers, moderate Muslims and secular people who are interested in putting my ideas into action. GRCAI will be crucial to guaranteeing that a wide and diverse range of black voices and others to be heard loud and clear. This is what I want to be remembered for trying to build something positive in the black community instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the government. Our focus is on re-creating Black Wall Street in our urban community. What makes GRCAI different from other black organizations is that GRCAI is based on my experience and my book is the foundation of the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

GRCAI will offers the best in African Diasporic cultural experiences, promoting an understanding of the present by valuing the past. We will promote the best of black culture. Our performance company will create an African village in a safe environment. We will provide private employment to our clients and members within the community based on our budget and sponsorship. GRCAI will help build bridges between the African American community and the African Immigrant community. The trans-Atlantic slave trade was an appalling tragedy because of its inhumane treatment of African people. Today, poor blacks continue to suffer the consequences of these acts and that’s why GRCAI will integrate quality programs an services through social, economic and political life at the local level.

I wrote my story to recruit brave and smart people in America to assist me in turning my ideas into action. The desired outcomes are five-fold:

* That an essential cultural foundation be re-instilled between African Americans and African Immigrants, particularly with the youth.

* That we educate the important of economic empowerment among community residents.

* Planning and managing family-oriented special events and programs.

* Presenting performance and teaching programs in dance, theatre, films, sports, and music.

* Healing from Willie Lynch mentality.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book. Joining GRCAM is easy, and where you take that membership is up to you. For now GRCAM is only a virtual online community; whatever your level of involvement, your membership supports my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos. By joining my social groups, you belong to a community that will break through educational bias and economic barriers in the black community because we are going to eventually move from behind a community and make our presence known in the communities we will serve as mentioned in my revised book.

GRCAM/GRCAI will promote economic empowerment for blacks through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and community research. Members and allies can communicate from around the globe. All of my groups are open but I encourage men and women with at least an associate degree to please consider joining my management team but read my story so that I don’t have to waste time explaining everything which is already written in the book. I don’t ask for any donations.

GRCAM is membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAM is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

(Beware OF Prosperity Preachers)

Posted in Community with tags , , on August 29, 2017 by Mr. Emmanuel Barbee

Lord have mercy on Pastor Joel Osteen and other religious leaders in America who have the capital, manpower, and the resources to assist people who are victims of Hurricane Harvey. If I had my Christian organization up and running we would help as many people who want and need our assistants. Touch the hearts and minds of people on my friends list to spread my book information with their friends so that I can recruit brave and smart people to join my management team and also to get my book on the best seller list so that I can do all of the things which I have written in Jesus name.

Prosperity gospel is a belief among some Christians, who hold that financial blessings and physical well-being is the will of God for them, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one’s material wealth. Prosperity gospel views the Bible as a contract between God and humans: if humans have faith in God, he will deliver security and prosperity.

The doctrine over emphasizes the importance of giving and material blessings, proposing that the atonement (reconciliation with God) is interpreted to include the alleviation of sickness and poverty, which are viewed as curses to be broken by faith. This is believed to be achieved through donations of money, visualization, and positive thinking.

Christian socialism opposed prosperity theology as heresy and prosperity ministries have come into conflict with other Christian denominations who argue that prosperity theology has little in common with traditional Christian theology. Prominent evangelical leaders, such as Rick Warren, Ben Witherington III, and Jerry Falwell, proposes that prosperity theology promotes the idolatry of money, and others argue that Jesus’ teachings indicate a disdain for material wealth. Jesus’ statement in Mark 10:25 that “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” (KJV) as evidence to oppose such thinking.

Televangelist are often criticized for abusing the faith of their listeners by enriching themselves through large donations. They use a predatory method which appeal to people in financial distress or personal crises. Prosperity theology has been opposed for not adequately explaining the poverty of the Apostles.

For instance, some theologians believe that the life and writings of Paul the Apostle, who is believed to have experienced significant suffering during his ministry, are particularly in conflict with prosperity theology. Cathleen Falsani, religion writer in an opinion piece in the Washington Post, points to the conflict with basic Christian teachings “Jesus was born poor, and he died poor. During his earthly tenure, he spoke time and again about the importance of spiritual wealth and health. When he talked about material wealth, it was usually part of a cautionary tale.”

In the book “Health, Wealth and Happiness”, theologians David Jones and Russell Woodbridge suggest that righteousness cannot be earned and that the Bible does not promise an easy life. They argue that it is inconsistent with the gospel of Jesus and propose that the central message of the gospel should be Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Jones and Woodbridge see Jesus’ importance as vital, criticizing the prosperity gospel for marginalizing him in favor of a focus on human need.

Jones criticizes the prosperity theology interpretation of the Abrahamic covenant, God’s promise to bless Abraham’s descendants, arguing that this blessing is spiritual and already apply to all Christians. He also argues that the proponents of the doctrine misconstrue the atonement, criticizing their teaching that Jesus’ death took away poverty as well as sin. He believes that this teaching is drawn from a misunderstanding of Jesus’ life and criticizes John Avanzini’s teaching that Jesus was wealthy as a misrepresentation, noting that Paul often taught Christians to give up their material possessions.

Jesus instructed his followers to focus on spiritual rewards, citing his command in Matthew 6:19–20 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (KJV). Jones criticizes the doctrine’s view of faith: he does not believe that it should be used as a spiritual force for material gain but seen as selfless acceptance of God. God’s will should have precedence over the will of man, including their desires for wealth, and Christians should recognize the sovereignty of God. Prosperity theology overlook the importance of prayer, prayer should be used for all requests, not simply for financial blessing. Prosperity theology appeals to those who are already in affluent means.
